ok I just got back from my vet

I once again had to return to the "vet" to get the paperwork cause they were refusing to send it to my new vet. I saw that "vet" and he gave me the dirtiest look I can't even begin to explain, and the face he made at my little boy:mad:

anyway I don't wanna get into that, the vet took cosmo in, looked at his eyes in another room and said everything is okay with that. I told him about the AAS/AAI and he said hes never heard it been called that:rolleyes: but he still thinks its the vestibular and wants to wait it out. He also looked at the xrays and thought they were fine. He wants me to continue and finish the meds, and if cosmo is in pain after they're finished we will continue, but if hes not then he doesn't see a point in medicating him. Also, he said the head tilt could be his way of compensating, and although it looks funny to us, its just his way. He also looked at the paperwork, and saw cosmos albumin in the blood counts were very low when those were taken and I asked him could it have been from him not eating? he said yes, which leads me to once again think...what if he were there one more day? He didn't wanna run any other blood test cause cosmo doesn't look weak to him, so he didn't wanna put him through that again. I know theres more but its not coming to me right now...

O my goodness... Those sweet X rays... You are doing all you know to do and that is what counts .. Your baby Cosmo is so blessed to have you I can promise you that.. Thank you for the update .. I know everything must be extremely trying on you but hang in there ...We have been through Life and Death with Bleu and we made it you can too...

Give him treats belly rubs and kisses from us.....

That's great news. I would have know Cosmo's pic's anywhere;) . I'm sure you're feeling a little better now, knowing his xrays came up clean. Give him a super big hug from Roxy and me, and a High-Four paw smack from Remi.

So happy the x-rays came up good :) I will continue to pray for the little guy that he continues to heal and also for you i know you have been through so much.

Sending hugs, prayers, strength, patience, some extra brain cells for all that school work, and about three extra sets of hands to juggle everything you've got.

I am sssssoooooooooooo tired I could just fall asleep on this chair for a week.:rolleyes: Cosmo seems to be getting his little personality back, he starting playing rough with lilly the other day, she pushed him back and he rolled into the trash can:lol tears believe it or not, he actually tried getting on a chair yesterday to go on the table!! Were going to put up baby gates to they can't come in the kitchen anymore, I think that would be best. Those of you with AAS/AAI babies, I compared cosmos xrays with baby bears and good news, they don't look the same:) . If anyone has xrays I can look at and compare with i'd love to see them, please. Although the vet doesn't suspect AAS/AAI it would give me more piece of mind if I could see for myself, know what I mean? Okay back to the books:( talk to you all later
