Your breeder is doing the right thing.. What great person she is...
I have written you a letter sent it out under my personal email addy not Babybear's.. You should have it by now.. There is a lot of info in there for you so it might take some time for you to read it.. Please let me know if you need anything else... I will help you all the way...
And that pup should be on steriods.. And pain management. If the meds he is taken is not doing the trick he needs something stronger...This is a very serious condition...I can not stress that enough..
Hope you can understand everything I sent..Like I said I have tons more where that came from.lol

If not we are taking this one day at a time. Bleu was bought for a pet but we were going to let him stud out to get us a female.. I WOULD NOT WISH WHAT BLEU IS GOING THROUGH UPON ANYONE!!SO THE BUCK(STUD) STOPS HERE!

HE WILL ALWAYS BE MY BABY BLEU BOY BARBER! :love:

I don't know how I missed this, but just finished reading it through ... WOW!! Bleu sounds like a tough little boy and loving, caring parents! I have kept up with BabyBear and his Mom so am somewhat familiar with this condition. I have nothing to offer except prayer and I assure you that you have that! God bless you all ... please give little Bleu Boy many hugs and sweet puppy kisses for Toto and me!!

What a strong, fiesty little man you have. He is so adorable. Prayers and hugs are on their way for you and Blue Boy. And kudos to your breeder - she sounds amazing. It sounds like between your vet, BabyBear's mom and all the members here at YT, you have a ton of knowledge and support to help you and your little one get thru this ordeal. Good Morning

Bleu And Mommy Both Had A Good Night Last Night! He Is Drinking Very Well He Is Eating Well And Doing Minimal Crying In A Whole Day 2 Times .... I Am So Proud Of My Little Guy Cause He Is Being So Strong...

I Finally Broke Down And Took Pictures Of Him Last Night I Have To Figure Out Out To Get Them On Here ...

The Last Time Bleu Had Pain Medicine Was Yesterday At 3:30 ...

He Is Full Of Kisses And Actually Is Getting So Excited That I Have To Really Calm Him Thinking He Is Going To Mess His Neck Up ..

He Acts As If Nothing Is Wrong As Of Right Now..

We Have Vet Appt Tomorrow And As Soon As I Get In I Will Post His Update...

Im Excited I Wish Today Was Saturday So I Could See What The Vet Says On His Improvement Because He Is Improving..

I Decided I Would Try And Get Some Things Done For The First Time In Days And I Take Bleu And Put Him In His House ....

He Started Barking For Me So I Went To Get Him And I Thought He Would Need To Go Potty And I Took Him Outside And All Of A Sudden


He Is Going Sideways In Circles
Walks Backwards When I Go Towards Him
Did Not Respond To His Name
Did Not Respong To Do You Love Ur Mama Which He Repsonds To That More Than Anything

Last Time He Had Pain Meds Was 330 Yesterday So I Gave Him Pain Meds Just Now 930 Am He Is Laying In His Bed (not In His House) And He Has Cried Out Twice...

It Scares Me To Death.....

I Just Knew Today Was Going To Be A New Day And I Could Get Some Things Done ...


Am I Overreacting To Wanting To Watch Him Every Single Minute? I Have Not Left This Babies Side ....

Im Afraid Neurologically Something Is Wrong Omg Yall I Need Help...

What Is The Deal Why Am I Going Through This Why Is My Baby Suffering This Is Not Fair The Look In His Eyes Tell Me

HE NEEDS TO SEE A NEUROLOGIST ASAP! If your own vet isn't taking action, or isn't aquainted with this type of injury, then ask for a referral. Please, I don't mean to sound stern, but you really, truly need to force your hand with this little one if you expect him to survive this.

Just Got Off Phone With Vet And Breeder
 
I Want Yall To Know Not Only Do I Love Y T I Use It For A Diary On Bleus Progress.. Cause It Is Date And Timed

The Latest Is I Just Got Off The Phone With My Vet.

I Explained That Within One Hour Bleu Is Back To Normalcy Again And How I Was So Scared At 9:30 This Morning With The Way He Was Repsonding To Me..

Bleu Is Chewing His Bone And Responding To Me Normal Again And Im Ever So Glad...

Vet Says Sounds Like Neuro Issue But That Bleu Knew His Limits With His Neck.

He Stated He Would Be Running A Series Of Tests Including Floroscope Again Tomorrow

I Told Him Bleu Tends To Flare Up When He Barks Maybe It Is A Strain On His Neck Muscles I Dunno

Anyways I Also Talked To Breeder Again And She Said She Did Alot Of Reading And Studying Last Night.. She Also Offered To Keep Bleu Now Or Before And After Surgery If I Had Something That I Had To Do And I Could Not Take Him With Me... Im Blessed In This Situation...

Ill Still Praise Him Through This Storm

Sounds like things are getting there. Your breeder sounds awesome! So glad she is researching about AAI/AAS - As it is very serious.

The faster Bleu is in with a Neurologist and surgery to make sure his neck can never break the better it will all be.

Also, please do not deny him pain meds, just give them to him on schedule and if he needs more than give it to him, as this is probably very painful for him.

I'm so glad you found a vet that you like and that listened to your concerns. Bleu is so lucky to have a mommy that cares so much about him that she not only took him to one vet, but listened to her heart and mind and knew that he was still hurting despite the professional opinion of his doctor and went out there and looked further for the solution.
