Hello Family and Friends~ The trip to A&M was great ! I might add right off the bat NO SPEEDING TICKET:rolleyes: We arrived in College Station and went to Wiggle and Wags. Hubby went shopping while I hung out with Suzy Michele and Cynthia.... We had a great time LOTS OF YORKIES.... Rylie Lacy Bleu Kylie and Tootsie Then we had... Albert Einstein and Joshua but we also had the Texas A&M mascot Reville..... She is beautiful... Don't worry I have plenty of pictures!! BLEU BOUGHT LACY AND RYLIE AND THE CRB 5 brand new beds! He wanted to tell them thank you for supporting him and loving him and coming to see him the last 6 weeks.... :animal36 Cynthia Michele and I went and ate lunch and had a great visit... Fast forward~ We are at the small animal clinic and Dr. Heitlick comes in and says that Bleu is going home NO CAST:eek: I was so excited but yet scared too... She said his X RAYS were to perfection... We are so blessed. She stated that they were bathing him and cleaning him up and he would be out for the GRAND ENTRANCE in 5 -10 minutes:eek: It went by so fast and she brought him out and I was so relieved... I was happy I was speechless and even sick to my stomach and got dizzy thinking what am I going to do this is all new to me? Everything passed rather quickly and we began our usual PHOTO PARTY!:D Now we are home and for the first time ... this is what is taking place. When Bleu had his cast on every single time I would talk to him he would get all excited bouncy and HYPER..... Now he is so relaxed laid back and looks at me like I see you and you are talking to me... Hubby and I figured out it was because with the cast he had to get in our face to see us... NOW HE JUST TURNS HIS HEAD (Im crying tears of joy) Bleu boy drank out of his water bowl... Bleu boy ate his own food by himself. I have taken tons of pictures I just need to upload them and I will! He is so happy rotten spoiled and loved beyond measure... We go back in 4 weeks for a followup visit for X rays just to make double sure everything is staying in place now that he is to full mobility. He has NO NEURO DEFICITS... He is not weak anywhere .. He is up to full speed 100% We will not be running jumping ect.... but in 4 weeks he can and trust me he has tried but I have to stop him... He is currently snoring in my lap and resting... CRB thank you for Bleus 6 outfits... We love them all and you did a great job the collars are to die for. (HUGS) Dr. Heitlick said once they have 10 cases like Bleu's a book will be written and he will be the spokes model used ... We are so excited... She is compiling all of his records and they have taken pictures of him since day one for this book. I can not wait to see and read the finished product... WE LOVE OUR SURGEON! She did share with me that she was going to sign in on this webpage and make a entry for BLeu here on this thread . She said she will not be a active member much but that she will be signing in for us since we love this site so much.... I think this about covers it all... Thank you all once again for helping us through the past 6 weeks.. God is soo good and he is so greatly to be praised.. Vicki & Mark Bleus Parents |

Bleu Boy is one heck of a fighter, and survivor. You should be very proud of yourself, and are a wonderful furbaby Mom. I am so happy to hear of Bleu's recovery, and pray for continued improvement. This group rocks. |
Vicki, Bless you for taking the time to update us all. I know how tired you must have been and through it all you never failed to keep us apprised of new developments. Because of you, we are more knowledgeable about these types of cases and we now have a place to go for more information if ( God forbid ) someone should need it. God led you to YT for a reason and it has gifted us all. Hugs to you and Blue from all of us here..... :heart to |

Bleu Boy had a great night! He starts off in bed with us and then he WILLINGLY goes to his crate.. We do not hear a peep out of him till we get him at about 630 am every morning. He pottied and poohed and ate ON my tummy for the first time in 2 months BY HIMSELF. He ate alot haha! He drank alot too. He was sloshing water all over his face..... I got one of his squeaky toys out and he has squeaked it all morning ! He is full of energy.... He is laying in my lap as I type and this is the best way to describe it.... He must have enjoyed being in his mommys belly because he is curled up on half his side half his back in a FETAL POSITION all 4s crossed. I have never in my life seen anything like this but I do know that I have heard babies do that and it shows they are EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE so I think hs is very comfortable. The itching has stopped The only thing I miss about him having his cast on is no matter time of day I would talk to him and he would be right up in my face because he could not see due to the cast. He doesn't do that anymore HE JUST TURNS HIS LITTLE HEAD and trust me I am blessed but We are gonna have to work on coming to me when I call him :rolleyes: I thrive on his attention and now he has cast off he wants to just lay and look at me when I call him:rolleyes: Very busy day for me at work so I wont be on till tonight!I may check in on my blackberry but will probally save all messaging for tonight.... Bleu sure looks like he is doing great and enjoying his time without a cast...Vicky I am so glad he's doing great!! Your such a wonderful mommie and he is lucky to have you. My heart goes out to you and hope that your sorrows touch many people in a postive way so they can learn from Bleu that miracles do exist!! I know you and Bleu have touched my heart and soul. |
