| Cash has decided that he is a MAN now. He is almost 7 months and marks everything I don't mind though. I had a hard time potty-training him and now I just take him to the nearest tree Still deciding if he is getting neutered (want to breed him coz he is such a good example of the breed) But anyway, I am really happy my little man is growing up.

| Sometimes/both, it depends if he is trying to cock his leg to pee on something or just pee in the grass.

| Conner will lift his leg when he is wide awake. When he is tired (in the morning and before he goes to bed), he does not lift his leg. When we go to the park, he has to pee where other dogs have peed (maybe girl dogs), so he does not lift. He looks like such a girl when we go on our walks. He wears a macho shirt, then squats to pee.

| That's what my Max does too! He just barely lifts his leg when he's going on the lawn, but if we're outside the yard, he looks like an Olympic gymnast lifting his leg on everything!

| Winston lifts his leg really high, yet turns his head to make sure we're watching...He always gets praised for going potty outside and he's so proud of himself!!! There has been times that he's actually lost his balance and tipped over...now that is funny, but I still give him all the credit for being a good boy...cute, cute, cute!!!

| Spanky lifted his leg the first couple of days when I brought him home. I decided to limit his space. I bought a baby gate and left him in the bathroom. I would only let him out when I was able to focus all my attention on him. If I caught him sniffing, he'd be put back into the bathroom. I would reward him when he went on his puppy pads. I think he now understands that marking is not tolerated. He has not lifted his leg since then. |

| Both my girl (she lifts both hind legs to pee) Taffy. CJ was lifting his leg by 2 1/2 months old.... I always thought that was to young. We are getting him neuter soon he is almost 5 months old. Taffy has always done one leg or both since she was 3 months old. It is really funny to watch. CJ I have to watch him like a hawk in the house or friends homes because of his marking........ |
