Full Grown Weight? How much will your Yorkie weigh (approx)? or How much DOES he/she weigh? FULL GROWN :dog: curious to see the average weight of the puppies on YT :animal-sm |
Tia should weigh 5-6 pounds full grown - of course, who really knows? That's just the estimate I was given - whatever she ends up is fine with me! |
Ko-ko is said to be 6-7lbs full grown. she's 2.8 now @ 3 months. |
Gucci will be aprox 5 to 6 lbs. But I guess we have to wait and see. She is 7 months now and weights 5 lbs. |
porky yorkie Some lady once called my pup a "porky yorkie" I had just brushed him and his hair was all puffy. I was pretty upset- but now I think it's a cute funny name. Another time on a walk, it was pouring rain and a rude guy said my pup looked like a drowned rat! That one was not so cute- it actually was very upsetting for me. Loki weighs about 6 pounds- he is nine months and very active! :aimeeyork |
Have two big Yorkies. Buddy is 7lbs and Jake is 9lbs. They are half brothers, I don't know if Jakes size has anything to do with him being on steroids for so long. He is rather large though. |
Mya Mya is currently 4 months and weighs 2lbs. The breeder estimated that she would be around 3.5 full grown. The vet came up with this same number. The Vet said that at 4 months they have achieved 60% of their growth and she should be around 3.5. At 13.5 weeks she was 1lb 9oz, that number multiplied by two is a little over 3lbs. We'll just have to wait and see! |
My yorkie, so they say, should grow to be about 1.5 kgs., so about 3.3 - 3.5 lbs. Her mother weighed 1.4 pounds and her father just slightly over. Ro. |
What age? Bella is supposed to be 3 lbs full grown. But at what age will she be full grown? Is there a typical age? Thanks! |

THEN, that would make her the WORLD'S SMALLEST yorkie, which I seriously doubt. Quoting weight that small doesn't make anyone think wow she got a really small dog. It makes people think how cruel it was to breed a "1.4 pound" dog and make her have the puppies when her poor uterus didn't have room. So Makenna-DON'T beleive it. Just say oh wow, how cruel. |
My little guy should be a little over 4lbs fully grown. He's currently a little over a lb at 10 weeks. |
Amen To That! Quote:
AMEN TO THAT!!!! |
Tina is 6.3 lbs at 15 months. It sounds she is big compared to other small yorkies but she looks very small to me. |
LeileMom--that's the way it should be. What a great mother. =) |
toby is 6 months old right now and probably weighs in at around 9 lbs |
I have a big yorkie and a small yorkie..lol.Jessie is 10 months old and is almost 9lbs,she doesnt look big,but shes very robust..like a little bulldog..lol.Lady is 15months old and weighs in at 2lbs.We had her on a high calorie diet a few weeks back because the vet wanted to see if we could pull her weight up a little, but in 3 months she only put on 4oz and lost that within a week after the vet took her off of the food.I guess thats just how she is and how she will stay. She very brave though, you should see her play with Jess!!! lol. |

Please let us know ! |
my first Yorkie was 2lbs 8oz til she hit 11yrs then she got "fat" and weighed 3lbs 5oz (fat was my vets words not mine I thought she was adorable. Anyway, 3 different vets asked me please do not allow this baby to have babies. She is just to small. Lexi is 3lbs on the nose at 14 weeks and believed to get to about 5-6 lbs full grown. (and let me tell you she is perfect) |
Lena, My sister's 6-yr old yorkie, weighs about 10 lbs.. She's quite overweight though 'cause her vet said she should weigh about 7 lbs for her body-type. We have no idea how she gains so much weight... (Guess my sister overfeeds her from time to time.. ) I still think she looks as cute as ever. My yorkie, Cocoa, weighs a little bit more than 2lbs. He's 13 weeks right now, but he keeps growing really fast. So who knows how much weight he'll be when he's full grown? Right now I'm just happy that he's a healthy puppy and keeping my fingers crossed that it'd remains that way... :) |
My Tinkerbell is 2lbs at two years old and my Kody is 3lbs at ten months old. About the 1.4lb dog I totally I agree I look at Tink and couldnt even imagine her having babies, that is terrible and I wouldnt think of risking her life to have a litter of tiny babies. I dont know about some people that are breeders. Not trying to be rude those are just my thoughts. :aimeeyork |
My Tommy should be around 4lbs when fully grown. I would care if he was 20 I love him lots. He is so tiny,@ 5 months he is 2.9 lbs. When I had Tyler R.I.P @ 10 months he was 7 and half lbs so there is a big difference between the 2 they are so different also. :) |
Stomper is 4 months old and weighs 6 pounds and 6 ounces. The vet said he should way 8-9 pounds full grown. I don't know...he is big! |
A year is probably about full grown |
i thought that 6 months is when they stop growning? can anyone clarify when they stop growing my coco is 15 wks almost 4 months and weighs about 3 1/2- 4lbs? is he big?(not that i care just curious). |
Sheila just got her 4 month booster and weighed 1 kg or 2.2 pounds. Not sure how big she'll get but I guess about 4 pounds? |
Sebastian is 10 weeks old and weighs 1lb 12 oz. so I am estimating him to be about 4 lbs. |
My Breeder = LIAR My breeder told me my baby Riley was expected to be 5lbs full grown and he's already 6 lbs at 6 months! Then again he is CHUNKY! That boy is FAT! LOL |
Too Funny,,, my Bailey is 10 months old and I get to bring him to work with me everyday, which is GREAT, anyhow we have this customer that everytime he comes in he says " theres Porky the Yorkie"! I know how ya feel! ( oh by the way the last time we went to the vet he was 9.8 pds.)... ha... maybe he's right?! I dont care. ILUV him no matter what! |
