I think lacey will be around 5 pounds when she is full grown :) :) :) |
Cindy is 5 months old and weighs 1 lb 11 oz , so we think she will be 2 to 3 lbs full grown. She is such a cuddler and we take her just about everywhere with us. She loves the car rides! |
Their Weights Our first puppy, Mynxie is almost 3 and she weighs 4.5lbs. Now Jaxon who is only 13 weeks weighs just as much as Mynxie right now (4.4lbs). I think Jax will be 5 to 7lbs full grown. :) :animal-pa |
Twinkie is exactly 3lbs at 9months. |
Mia is 3 pounds at 10 weeks. She is my chubby little baby. Does anyone have an older Yorkie that weighed about the same at that age? I know she is going to be big, but I am curious as to how big. Thanks. |
Full grown I am currently owned by 3 yorkies. Annie is the only one that is full grown at 2 years old. She weighs 4 pounds 7 ounces. She is the only one I know for sure what the full grown weight is so she is the one I used to answer the poll question. Cody is 5 months old and weighs 3 pounds 6 ounces and Emmie is just 2 pounds 6 ounces at 5 months. I think Cody will top out between 4 and 4 1/2 pounds and Emmie might make it to 3 1/2. Annie stayed right at 4 pounds until she was about 18 months old and added the extra ounces between 1 1/2 and 2 years. I think she is done now! :animal36 |
puppy size I have heard the general rule is to double the weight at 12 weeks however Iko weighed 2.7 oz at 12 weeks and now is 7 1/2 months and weighs 2lbs 12 oz. He is very small. I hope he will grow lots more. His mom was 6 lbs and dad was around 4. I was given a estimate of around 5 lbs. I did not want a puppy this small. He makes me nervous because he is so tiny. He eats like a champ. Loves cereal for snacks. He looks even smaller becuase I cut his hair into a snauzer cut for the summer. He is adaorable, but he needs to grow. melanie |
oops. |
peeka should be 4-5 lbs but like everyone says ya never know? |
Mojo is about 5lbs (sometimes alittle more, sometimes alittle less). - he seems to eat the same everyday, so who knows. The estimate I was given was between 5-6lbs, so that seems about right. |
Baby is 3 1/2 lbs at 3 years. Juicy still a pup @ 4 mos 1lb 15oz. |

Gracie is 8 lbs, Spike is 5 lbs and Sugar is 3 lbs. I guess our household average is around 5 lbs.:) |
Peeka and boo should weigh about 4.5 to 5 lbs full grown |
Big Boy Bailey Embarrased to say, but Bailey weighs 13.5 pounds! The vet says he isn't overweight, just a large yorkie. |
Yorkie weight I first responded to this poll several months ago. At the time, I had 3 yorkies. I am proud to announce I just got 2 more little girls! The funny thing is Emmie (my smallest one) is now at 2 pounds 14 ounces at 8 months old and one of the new puppies already outweighs her at 2 pounds 15 ounces at 10 weeks old. I am glad she is going to be bigger as that is what I wanted this time around. Her sister weighs in at 1 pound 12 ounces at 12 weeks. I guess one of them takes after their mommy and the other after daddy. Their little mom only weighs a bit over 3 pounds and dad is nearly 5 pounds. Before anyone blasts me here I was not the breeder and according to the owner it wasnt a planned pregancy. The mom had the pups when she was only 10 months old herself. I do find it interesting that one of the pups is already almost as big as the mom. Guess I have a lot to learn about puppy genetics! :aimeeyork :animal-pa |
Missy is 6 pounds at 3 & 1/2 yrs. old & Gigi is still growing. She's only 11 weeks old. |
I was told IKO would be 5-6 pounds. He is 8 months old and has not grown anymore and he weigh 2.8lbs. I do have his hair extremely short in a short short snauzer cut. I have a four year old daugther who eats candy and it is easier to keep him short. |
My Clyde is 15 weeks and weights in at 1.5 lbs (24 oz). He should be approximately 3-4 lbs full grown approximately. |

Snickers weighs 9 lbs, and Baxter weighs 12 lbs. They are both beautiful yorkies and I wouldn't want them any other way! :animal-pa |
My Teapots and my little small fry. Newman is 10 years old and he weighs 12 pounds prob. should be about 10 pounds. Bella is almost four years old and she weighs in at ten pounds which is perfect for her. My two are teapots. lol. My Noel who we believe is Yorkie Poo weighs in at huh 16 pounds. LOL. And last but not least Tia who is now a bit over a year old weighs in at a whopping four pounds. We got her at ten months old at which time she was three pounds and just about done growing. By the way, Newman was only supposed to be six pounds at most and Bella they thought would be around four pounds and well forget Noel. LOL. They said she'd be around six pounds too. Goes to show you. Ha ha. But they are my loves. Elaine |
my bella is a little over a year and weighs just under 5 pounds!!:) |
1 Attachment(s) Tara, nearly 7yrs; Casper, 4 and a half years; and Tammy, nearly 4 years..... ....all 4lbs in weight;) :animal-pa Debra, Scotland |
My boys are 5 lbs and 5 1/2 lbs, and my girl is 5 1/2 lbs. My 5 lbs boy is still growing, hes just 6 mths old now. |
:aimeeyork WELL I HAVE TWO YORKIES ONE IS A FEMALE PENNY WHEN I GOT HER AT 10 WEEKS SHE WAS 2.5 LBS AND NOW SHE'S 2 YEARS AND SHE IS 11 LBS THEY TOLD ME SHE WILL BE 7 POUNDS MAX THEY WERE REALLY WRONG. THEN I HAVE LUCKY WHEN HE WAS 9 WEEKS OLD HE WEIGHT 2 POUNDS AND HE IS TWO NOW AND IS PUSHING 5 POUNDS. SO CONFUSING TO FIGURE ANY OF THIS STUFF OUT I LOVE THEM BOTH BIG OR SMALL:aimeeyork |
Pepper shot up from a mere 1.5 lbs at 10 weeks to 6 in almost 1 year old... He's small heightwise though, only when picked up, he gets heavy LOL. |
Joey was 6.9lbs at 9 months and now at 2.4years he's a healthy 8lbs. He has been seen by 2 vets and both agree that he was too thin at 9 months. Is there really any way to tell how big they will be and does it matter as long as they are healthy. |
Conner is 9 pounds - the breeder said he would be 4 - 5 pounds. He is just big boned!!!! |
My lil furbaby is one year old tomorrow! And he weighs a lil over 3 pounds!:animal-pa |
