Your not the only one that carries them. Natalie expects to be carried. You can say "ready for bed" she sits and looks at me like...."OK, pick me up..You think I'm gonna walk ... I'm tired". so up she goes, lays her head on my shoulder, watching Charlie follow behind us. Then onto the bed she goes, snuggles up to her blanket and waits for me to cover her up so she is all snuggly and warm. Charlie don't wait for me to pick him up, when I say bed time, he is down off the couch, usually in front but if he is sleepy, following, ready for his cage. He crawls in on his blanket, looks at me as to say "Mom, shut the door" then off to sleep he goes. If Charlie is really tired, he will give me the same look as Natalie and I get to carry both of them to bed.

Dont carry my, we go potty around 11:00pm and when we came in they ran up to my bed and sit and wait for me, to came upstair and they get a treat, just before bedtime.

I think I'll be buying a set of stairs so my babies can start sleeping with me. They're crate trained but I miss them terribly during those few hours....

I never have to carry Princess to bed.
She is a watch dog, so she has to sleep right by the front door. She's usually asleep in her bed before I go so I'll tuck her in when I head to bed myself.

I never know when she comes in my room, (though I usually hear her bell, I'm too tired to see the time), but she is with me everyday when I wake up. And if I sleep in later than an hour or so as normal she will come lick me awake!

Sweet Roxxy follows me, no need at all to carry her. I do have to help her up there though.

My baby Krickett (who isn't really a baby at 10 yrs old), he stands in the hall looking at me - to tell me "its bed time". Once we are in the bedroom he sits and waits for me to pick him up and put him in bed. Once there he expects a night night bone. I go get one, he licks my hand to say thanks.

That sounds adorable. I don't believe at any age they stop being our babies.

I carry both mine to crate at night have only had them about 2 weeks, but they never had a problem going nite nite.

No need to carry him he's always ready for bed and sometimes beats me upstairs, but in the mornings when I go to work I have to tuck him in, he stands and waits for me to lift his blanket so I can snuggle him in and give him a kiss

I don't have to. As soon as I move like I'm going to bed, Sophie is off and running to run up the steps to the bed.

Yeppers I do. My bed is too tall for Teddie to jump up on, and he usually falls asleep before I head off to bed. So I pick up a limp pup and cuddle him...the BEST part of the night is sleepy puppy kisses.
