Your not the only one that carries them. Natalie expects to be carried. You can say "ready for bed" she sits and looks at me like...."OK, pick me up..You think I'm gonna walk ... I'm tired". so up she goes, lays her head on my shoulder, watching Charlie follow behind us. Then onto the bed she goes, snuggles up to her blanket and waits for me to cover her up so she is all snuggly and warm. Charlie don't wait for me to pick him up, when I say bed time, he is down off the couch, usually in front but if he is sleepy, following, ready for his cage. He crawls in on his blanket, looks at me as to say "Mom, shut the door" then off to sleep he goes. If Charlie is really tired, he will give me the same look as Natalie and I get to carry both of them to bed.
