perrito was $1600 and Jasmin Im nor sure she was a present but she was about $800.......I got Perrito from a pet store (I didn't know any better) now i would never buy a dog from a pet shop, but i'm not regret a single penny |
I helped my Misty's mommy give birth to four puppies. Getting one of the puppies was part of the deal. If Misty's mommy had to go to the vet for a C-section, then that would be a different story. So far I have helped Misty's mommy deliver 2 litters of 4 each, Misty had one puppy, and a friend's Maltese had 3 puppies. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed watching these little babies come into the world. Cyndi |
I paid $1500 for each of my babies. Except Autumn she's Contessa's baby that I kept. I talked to each of my breeders for months before I bought them. I went to their houses several times to visit as well. |
Galahad is my little foundling, so I didn't pay anything for him. Well, until you factor in the costs for ads run in local papers, and posters, vet costs for checkups. Then, when no one ever claimed him, add vet costs for neutering, microchipping, his registration fee for my city, plus all his food, grooming supplies, treats, toys, clothes, bed...LOL! |
I'm paying $1250 for my baby, plus $300 to ship her to me. She is registered AKC and comes from fabulous blood lines (I defintitely suggest doing much research if you're paying over 1K!). I know she'll be worth every penny though, I would much rather pay more for quality and health than less for a poor sick pup! |
Ella didn't cost us anything b/c my dad and sister bred yorkies up until last winter when Ella's mom (Bella) died. Although, i did help to pay for Ella's mom and dad (Mac Daddy). Mac was $800 and Bella was $1000. Both AKC registered. My little sis still has Mac Daddy, but Ella is a vision of her mom. We miss her so much. |
I paid $1000 for Gunnar at 15 weeks. I knew he'd be a little over 7 pounds, but that is what I wanted. Now, he is 15 months and almost 8 pounds. He came from a hobby breeder with AKC papers , 1 yr health guarantee and a puppy pack. I met his parents and they were wonderful, calm and friendly. I had several phone conversations with the breeder. He is my little man and I love him dearly. Since our only skin kid moved out on Saturday, my DH is paying more attention to Gunnar! (this is a good thing). :p Donna |
Couver was a re-home at 5 months old and was only $300. He is AKC registered and I wouldn't trade him for the world :D |
We paid $800 each for our girls.Bella is 5lb Addie is 4lb.Thay both have silky coats. |

Jackson was $550. |
I got Joey from a hobby breeder for $600 with CKC papers at 12 weeks he weighed 2.3 lbs he is now 6lbs. I got Cabella for $300 she was 13 months old, and weighed 10 lbs. She was a little overweight. She is also CKC registered. She had a litter of puppies 3 weeks ago, with six in the litter. She is such a good moma. Dad (Joey) is now looking to play with his kids, as long as mom is in a good mood about it. Not sure how to price the puppies, I think they are worth a million. Hope I can get a post and mabey some of you guys can help me. We live in southwest VA, but also have a home in East TN. Mabey pricing would be better there. |
I got Meg at a petstore in Korea (didn't know any better at the time) for about $320. She was 13 wks old and 1 lb when we got her, and she is now 14 months old and 5 lbs exactly. She is perfect and DH and I love her so! |
1. Bella - $1800 (Pet Shop via Puppy Mill...before I knew better:() 2. Abby - $400 (YTNR) 3. Phoebe - $500 (YTNR) Bella very likely originated via Import or Puppy Mill and with the highest price tag. Along with that price tag, she came with...CT (Collapsed Trachea). Abby & Phoebe both came to me via Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue (Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue Adoptions and Shop) which I highly recommend! They are all absolute loves and I would've paid a million (if I had it...) for each and every one of them for all the love we share!:D PS....By the way, did you know that we are always looking for Foster Moms at YTNR? If you have some extra love & room for one more and would like to talk to me about becoming a volunteer Foster Mom...please PM me! Thank you:) |
I was given Sugar (reluctantly....) for nothing. She was 2 years old and her previous "owners" paid somewhere between $ 1900 and $3000 (depending on what you believe...) Little did I know that my life would change FOREVER the minute I walked off from that elevator with her.....:D:p |
