| WOW Ann, they are all just wonderful. What kind of a camera do you have I love flowers and concentrated on them since the lessons I had but, I have to start with other things. We were given homework to get a big white fluffy cloud with a blue sky, of course that would not be macro however not one person in the class could get a nice one. We tried so many settings. I will have to get out in the snow when we get some more. Doesn't capt_noonie get some beautiful shots

I'm having a problem with getting the right light all the time. Only when I am outside in the daytime with a nice bright overcast sky I get good pics. Most of the pics from my cruise were all bright overcast so most came out good. But at home it's never enough light and the flash makes it look really harsh.

| That is a good idea to zoom in on one drop. Don't faint if my next post works. LOL

Did you ever see the prices on the 'under water' cameras.

| I'm really enjoying the photos. When you say Macro, do you mean the macro setting on the camera or using a macro lens? I'm sure I have some macro photos somewhere, but I use the macro setting. I don't have a macro lens.

I'm actually using a macro/micro 60mm lens for mine. My D90 does have a automatic "macro" pre-set, but if I want to really do macro I usually whip out the lens instead bc I can then really get in there.

| Here are a couple of my shots. I don't know if they are technically macro. I have a Canon D60 and this past year I set a goal to use mostly all manual settings. So I am still learning.

Isn't manual fun, in a way? Challenging at times, sure, but you learn so much about exposure and aperture etcetera.

| Yes! I love manual. My photographs have really improved since going manual and I want to get away from my kit lens and upgrade to a nice one. I still get so confused over aperture/shutterspeed, but I'm getting there.
