YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Adobe Photoshop elements 6 - Question I hope this comes out clearly. I've been using this program when I upload my pics from my camera. That works fine, but when I want to share a pic, or attach a pic say to an email, then what happens is after I click attach, I have to go in and open the adobe digital pics, then I get a sort by date uploaded, then I have to press that, and search for the pic I want. It very time consuming. \is there a faster way?

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Have you tried to search for the picture attachment by going through the Start menu, Pictures and then right clicking on that particular pic then clicking on "send to" then "mail recipient" ? That will attach the picture first before you start typing the email and avoids having to open Elements. Also, check the settings in your email program. Depending on which one you use, you may have the option of telling it to use or not use adobe to attach the pictures.

I use Photoshop for my labels and cards that I make but to open and send photos - I use my windows based programs to open pics - you can change your settings by going to your control panel and clicking 'Folder Options' Click File Types then you scroll to what ever file extension your pictures are using and you can change the settings to 'open with' and choose a different program - make sure you uncheck the box that says 'Always open with selected file' I use MS Picture Manager - saves time and also you don't have to go thu the process you are using now. | |
