I use Photoshop for my labels and cards that I make but to open and send photos - I use my windows based programs to open pics - you can change your settings by going to your control panel and clicking 'Folder Options'
Click File Types then you scroll to what ever file extension your pictures are using and you can change the settings to 'open with' and choose a different program - make sure you uncheck the box that says 'Always open with selected file'
I use MS Picture Manager - saves time and also you don't have to go thu the process you are using now.
