| Please help me with the eggs! OK NO LAUGHING!!!!! How long do you cook a pot of stupid eggs? I already tried twice, one pot well lets just say, the eggs were white when I put them in, but with the water all gone, they kind of were yucky. The second pot, I did ok, but the eggs were all broken So off to the store I went to buy more. Now can someone PLEASE tell me what I have to do. I told my kids they could color eggs, I'm ready to just give them to them uncooked

| Betty Crocker I am not... but for hard-boiled eggs I usually put the eggs in the water, and when the water starts to boil, time the eggs for 10 minutes. Then, I take the whole pot to the sink and run cold water into the pot. Good luck and have fun! I miss coloring egss... |

| OK, I am only laughing where you can't hear me!! My husband thought you had to boil eggs for a half hour when we first got together, and he wondered why his centers were always black, lol!! Start with a pot of COLD water. Put your eggs in. Water should just cover the eggs. Bring the pot to a boil, shut off the heat, and cover your pot (with the water in it) for 10 minutes! Voila! Hard boiled, mostly unbroken eggs. There may be one, you can't ever tell! Run cool water on them to cool if you want to use them right away. Let me know how it turns out!

| OK, in the pot, and cooking away! Wish me luck, if I have to go back to the store again, they are going to laugh at me! I think they should sell colored eggs at Easter time!!! This is way too much stress If the big kids were here, they would do it, but they went to the beach! Thanks for your help!!!!
