| Favorite Food Swaps? I try to substitute lower calorie/fat/carb whenever possible. For instance I use Shiratake noodles or spaghetti squash or even grated zucchini instead of pasta. I also use plain greek yogurt in place of sour cream ALL of the time (great mixed with salsa ) I sub out all or half cauliflower for potatoes in both mashed potatoes and even potato salad. I add mushrooms to my meat based dishes. They have the same texture and flavor ~ nobody knows What tricks do you use to cut calories but still eat well?

| I have been an off again/on again Weight Watcher member for over 15 years. I just got done with a recipe that is better than I thought it would be. (1) box angle food cake mix - (1) 20 oz. can crushed pineapple. Stir together by hand until well mixed, will become kind of foamy. Put in ungreased cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. It's easy, low in calories (only 4 weight watcher points) and satisfies my sweet tooth.

| I don't even care for mushrooms but I have long used them in meat dishes to help cut down on the meat content. I barely eat meat anymore except almost as a condiment. Still, I love a good fried chicken breast, hamburger or prime rib a few times a year.

| I also use low fat ricotta and add either savory or sweet ingredients to it for a creamy treat or (in the case of savory) A DIP

| I just recently switched from using ground beef to using ground white turkey. I use it the same way I would beef and just spice it up. Makes wonderful tacos, hamburgers etc..I use baby bella mushrooms in my turkey burgers.

| I add shredded carrots to almost everything. I also have started using ground turkey in place of beef in all most every recipe. Still can't eat a turkey burger though. I use a site called hungrygirl.com that takes ordinary recipes and swaps out ingredients to make them with less fat and less calories.

| If I buy frozen meals I try to extend the portion to double by adding veggies Taco meat? Add refried beans! I saw on hungry girl to rinse store bought coleslaw with water. Removes the fat but retains the flavor. Haven't tried that one yet. fill hard boiled egg centers with hummus. I make chips out of huge sheets of lavash! It's like 200 calories for an entire sheet! Use lettuce instead of bread- or simply turn into a salad.
