We have different 'thicknesses' of cream - single being the 'thinnest'. It isn't the same as light cream - single has less fat. It's what we use in coffee, maybe pour over strawberries if you're on a diet (!! ) and use in cooking etc.

Then there's double (thick) which is quite dollopy, then whipping which is self-explanatory and then - 'la creme de la creme' (if you'll excuse the pun!! ) clotted cream....which you know all about! Sally x

Wow, Sally! I had no idea of all the creams! Thanks for the lesson. I've got to get to London one of these days. Shall we meet at the Savoy for coffee or is that site long passe there now? Anyway, I want to try all of those creams!!!! I may go make some coffee right now and pour in a ton of creamer and pretend it's thick, thick, thick!

COFFEE my main source of nutrition! I love my Keurig machine and I love that there are so many flavors available. I used to drink mine with little sugar but since someone has gotten me paranoid about black coffee staining my teeth I now add cream. I sometimes will add hazelnut flavored liquid sugar or coconut. But hazelnut is my favorite.

I don't like my coffee overly sweet and when my hubby sips my coffee (he's not a coffee drinker) he says it's so bitter.

Do you all drink light, medium, or dark roast? I like mine medium and dark. We have in Hawaii a Lion's brand coffee that is 100% Kona coffee and it's the only coffee that my dad will drink. He lives in Texas and I have to ship him tons of coffee several times a year. LOL

Haven't heard of flavored simple syrups, is this something you make or something you buy?

I got a huge bottle of one of those from Starbucks a few years back in a gift basket. Loved that stuff but it was high in calories! Wow, was it tasty! Some cinnamon-pecan flavor or something like that.

They sell them in little bottles at Walmart..but not much selection.
And you definitely can make them...not hard. Make your simple syrup and add your favorite extracts. I think for tis' the season the peppermint extract would be perfect right now.

And YES! I buy them at Starbucks...it's only about 7.somthing a bottle. It's a big bottle and lasts long!

LOL Lisa does not drink coffee. Though she loves her tea!

Starbucks has a huge selection of those syrups, as do most coffee sections of the grocery store. I don't know if our Walmart sells them but the regular grocery store does.
