I recently got the Cuisinart Single Serve Brewing System and just love it. I've been experimenting with different coffees for the past few months. They have caramel coffees, vanilla coffees, chocolate coffees, and just plain old regular coffees. I love the flavored coffees in the afternoon, some have sweeteners and creamers already added, but most are just flavored coffee. I don't drink the flavored creamers because they sound like they are bad for you (modified corn syrup solids and partially hydrogenated oil), and I just use 1 percent milk, but if the coffee is good enough, the milk is fine. Anyway, coffee has become my guilty pleasure. It's so quick and easy to make a great tasting cup of coffee and I no longer have to drink the whole pot.

Sounds like I need to check the Cuisinart Single Serve out!

Thanks Nancy for reminding us how bad the flavored creamers are

They are similar to the Keurig machine, I just like the way the Cuisinart looks, but they use the same pods. Cuisinart give you a pod that you can fill with you own coffee if you want, but I'm hooked on the convenience of the pods, especially when I'm so sleepy I can't see anything.

I know creamer isn't good but I figure I don't smoke and rarely drink a little modified corn syrup solids isn't so bad lol

I worry more about the partially hydrogenated oil, heart disease runs in my family, and stroke is even worse than a heart attack, in my opinion. I'm certainy not telling you to do it, you can worry when your 60!

Good point about the hydrogenated oil. I am trying to live a healthier lifestyle maybe I will start by cutting back on the creamer. I just love the flavors

I usually just drink my coffee black but during some weekends or holidays, I add the creamers. It makes special days more special. I hardly ever have coffee after breakfast.

We have Italian Lavazza ground coffee, set to be ready for us at 6 a.m. in the coffee machine - I LOVE waking up to that smell.....

Oh, and it HAS to have fresh single cream in....

I am not a coffee drinker but I love the smell. Freshly ground beans. I have a coffee press. It makes the est coffee

I actually like the rich taste of the black coffee sans any sweetener or lightener, milk, cream. It is very good on its own if you have a an excellent coffee to start. But mainly I don't like to drink my calories mornings and save them for chewing calories without having to diet later. If I cut out the creamer, I can save those cals for something special to eat!

I ADORE my coffee....especially my very first cup in the morning! My day is ruined if I dont get that first wonderful, hot cup! I LOVE Dunkin Donut Original Roast with Cream Broulette creamer! While I drink a 12 cup pot of coffee all by myself during the day, that very first MUG sets my day for me....how STUPID is that!!!!
