We have different 'thicknesses' of cream - single being the 'thinnest'. It isn't the same as light cream - single has less fat. It's what we use in coffee, maybe pour over strawberries if you're on a diet (!!
) and use in cooking etc.
Then there's double (thick) which is quite dollopy, then whipping which is self-explanatory and then - 'la creme de la creme' (if you'll excuse the pun!!
) clotted cream....which you know all about! Sally x
