I made cabbage soup Saturday. I had it before, but DH and DS hadn't, they loved it. Still haven't tried the lamb yet...trying to find ground lamb and I have one more grocery store to check for it.

I LOVE people trying new foods!! This is awesome

I(we) tried grilled octopus for the first time (kinda) this weekend!!

I had it in a seafood soup before but the flavor was masked and muddled.

I(we) LOVeD LOVeD LOVed LOVeD it!!

If it's not cooked properly it can be chewy. If you want to try calamari I recommend trying it fried first. Everything tast better fried!

Calamari is good fried. Octopus is rarely served that way. A waste of good tentacles

A Mexican restaurant that used to be by my house served a bloody mary with octopus in it. I didnt get up the nerve to try on but it sure got everyones attention when a server was serving one
