| ![]() Grilled cheese dripping with real butter and Sargento real cheddar cheese, onion garnish and small green salad. Walked 28 minutes after lunch to help digest all that dairy fat!

| ![]() One of my favorite take-out lunches - a cold-cut combo footlong Subway sandwich on toasted whole wheat loaf with mustard dressing, everything on it, cheese combo, Baked Lay chips, a chocolate cookie and a Diet Coke. Brought it all home, changed into comfies, cut one half of it in half again and ate that, some of the chips and half a cookie and rest went in the fridge for later. Subway always has the best chocolate chip cookies! I never go there w/out leaving with one or two.

| ![]() A sub, baked Lays and a chocolate chip cookie with drink of choice is just about perfect combo of flavors, whatever sub you get, it can't go wrong. ![]()

| ![]() Me, too. Such good taste combos and all those veggie choices! Just can't beat all those fresh veggies and any of the meats - on a crisply toasted loaf, then add some chips, for some reason Baked Lays are always my choice there, your drink and a great chocolate chip cookie and you are a happy camper. They have other cookies but I can't ever forego their chocolate chip. You just can't beat them when you want some plain old cold cuts with lots of cheese or a messy, rich-tasting meaty sub dripping with your dressing of the moment - with all those fresh vegetables to brighten, freshen everything up, cut into, compliment the meat, bread taste - never had a bad sub there ever. Everything always tastes so fresh. And I would buy those chocolate chip cookies by the dozen if they sold them that way, they are always so fresh, buttery tasting and just melt in your mouth. A visit to Subway always makes me sad I don't have a bigger stomach, my whole life it always fills up too quickly, just won't hold much! I wish I could get hungry again so I could go for those leftovers!

| ![]() Got up when it was dark to refill the freezer and restock at BJ's and Sam's Club during senior shopping hours this week. The result is that we have had a real bonanza of meals as we prep the large packages for the freezer, and break down the meats. So far had beef stroganoff, Julia Child onion soup. filet mignon with bernaise, and just set two corned beefs up in my homemade stout-based brine. Will be having them in a few days. I am proud to say that we are still working on low-carbs. Hubby has lost nearly 50 pounds since the first of the year, and I am just breaking through my plateau at 20 pounds. I would kill for a really good NY style pizza though...
