| ![]() haha. Not the thread to read when the tummy begins to empty. Reminds me of the days of starving after reading capt_noonie's usually late hour posts, w/her foodie icons of what looked like hot dinners ready to eat! She'd often post after 10 pm Dallas time so I'd already be hungry and sometimes it seemed she'd post w/a new icon food pic of her latest take-out just B4 digging in. I always imagined the food perfect in every way, of course piping hot, unimaginably savory with a pungent, heady, aromatic bouquet wafting through the home. Just like Pavlov's dogs, my mouth would start watering instantly, like I'd just driven by a KFC or something and my poor stomach start to plead. Went to bed hungry so many times after reading her posts, dreaming of those hot dinners I'd not be eating for long hours yet to come, jealous of capt_noonie's full stomach! Was soooo glad when she stopped doing that and probably slept much better not angsting over how horribly long it would be before I myself would find the time, energy and appetite to get my very own hot meal! ![]()

| ![]() And just think if we posted perfect pictures of our food just B4 we ate it! I swear I could smell capt.'s pictures. And the nights my poor stomach would grumble and roar after seeing them when already hungry, hours before I'd get even a cold lunch. Oh, my, I'm not a big eater but love food talk and pictures of good-looking food, maybe more than the food itself, but even seeing her user name makes me a little hungry now! Boy, was I ever trained well! Maybe that's what game me the idea to start this thread back when, attaching YT not just to Yorkies - but food! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Yeah, I rarely buy snacks or junk food but last grocery store visit, brought home the donut holes, a 6 pack of Hershey's Chocolate bars and pack of 3 large Reese's bars. So far, the candy has stayed in the cupboard and don't really like the donut holes that much due to the blueberry in them. So, I just ate 7 since Friday. I have 3 large Lindt Extra Dark Chocolate 78% cocoa bars my son brought me - almost bitter but just ate a small bit of it for a few days then gave up. Wanted some real sweets in the house though I don't really crave them, just want them in case I do. So back to the medicine bars!

| ![]() I'm trying to learn but this Lindt stuff is a bit too dark or maybe it's just not sweet enough. It's VERY chocolate to the point that one square of it is all you can stand, at which point you gag at the thought of anything more. So,my Hershey Milk Chocolate bars will hopefully mitigate the medicine-y taste of it. So one square of it, one of the Hershey bar? Guess I'll be defeating the healthy aspect of the extreme dark chocolate but it's just so strong, SO chocolate I need something to chase it with or something. Hershey Dark Chocolate bars are not nearly so strong but Danny didn't bring that brand, he brought me the huge Lindt bars that will take me over a month to eat each at this rate. Each bar is big and thick. Never thought I'd wimp out over a chocolate bar but these Lindts are something else!

| ![]() I had to go look again Dark chocolate is loaded with nutrients that can positively affect your health. Made from the seed of the cocoa tree, it is one of the best sources of antioxidants on the planet. Studies show that dark chocolate (not the sugary crap) can improve your health and lower the risk of heart disease. |

Was pretty shocked at how bitter the Lindt is compared to Hershey dark chocolate but then this stuff is akin to medicine in taste and health benefits in that its cocoa content is so high. Haven't checked the package but bet the sugar fat content minimal, the taste bitter. You DO get your chocolate fix quickly with it. I know I need it which cannot explain after speed walking 26 mins. today, lifting my weights this morning, I scarfed down 2 Reese's Cups 3 hours later! Oh, well, salad tonight.

| ![]() Wow! Keep getting distracted from posting with Google ads for rings. Love to look at large gem stone rings, the bigger the stone the better! Mostly love huge solitaires. I'm almost talking drag-queen gem sizes, haha. Love those big, bright, brilliant cut, sparkly solitares of every color, of course, the whiter, um, the better! Could drop a whole account on one website. Breaded fish on a bun for lunch, mustard potato salad and small Spring Mix salad and a pickle. Now time to get my walk in. Never much down time.
