Got up when it was dark to refill the freezer and restock at BJ's and Sam's Club during senior shopping hours this week. The result is that we have had a real bonanza of meals as we prep the large packages for the freezer, and break down the meats. So far had beef stroganoff, Julia Child onion soup. filet mignon with bernaise, and just set two corned beefs up in my homemade stout-based brine. Will be having them in a few days. I am proud to say that we are still working on low-carbs. Hubby has lost nearly 50 pounds since the first of the year, and I am just breaking through my plateau at 20 pounds. I would kill for a really good NY style pizza though... |
