What is wrong with me???? Picked up another small bag of pork rinds(seem drawn to them), ate some, enjoyed at first & then got sickened by the taste/smell! Do I need professional help???

Just finished my chicken teriyaki bowl from earlier today. It was huge so it fed me for two meals.

I love pork rinds....or as we call them here chicharon. There is an old filipino man that makes them home made. You can go to his house and buy it warm and fresh...yum!

I love spam! Hawaii has the largest consumation of this meaty goodness. lol My faves are spam musubi's, spam with tomato, or baked spam(like ham).
The McD's here serve spam, eggs, and rice for breakfast!

But if I love them, why do they gag me after a while & seem disgusting? I've never eaten anything that the first 2 or 3 of is crunchy, light, pleasing to the taste & after a bit more, there is that awful slimy taste & piggy smell & I get sick. Yet, after that first experience, when I saw the port rind package on the shelf earlier in this week, I was drawn to it - wanting that crunchy, savory taste. After eating a few - gagging again. If I could stop after 3 or 4, I think I would like them - but I want more until that yuck moment. Never had such a Jekyll & Hyde food experience B4!

Yup we call them chicharones too. I wish there was someone here who made them home made. Like I said before, no where sells them with the layer of fat on them anymore, or with the packet of salsa. Those were to good days.

And I love spam, and I think anyone who says it's gross is lying if they eat ham, sausage, or hot dogs, it's very similar. I think bc it's in a can that they think it's gross. Maybe that gelatinous goo around it when it comes out? That stuff if the best!

Really? I've never had one single thing at Sonic that I ever wanted to put in my mouth again. I think it's stoner food, you have to be stoned and have the munchies to want to eat there.

Except all the juices, I get that, if you're into juices. But I only drink water and rum. Sometimes wine. They don't have that at Sonic, otherwise I'd be all over that.

Oh yea my food:
Today I had 1/2 albacore sandwich with lettuce/tomato/bit of tartar sauce on a wheat bun, and 1/2 tri tip sandwich with lettuce/tomato/grilled onions on grilled sourdough w A1 sauce, and a few fries dipped in various sauces.

Then the insides of one grilled fish taco and one shrimp taco.

Tonight I'm gonna have menudo from a can from the market, wish me luck. First time I'm trying this, it's always intrigued me.
