| All My Fish Died :( All 4 of my fish died today. I had an 8 inch black tip shark catfish, a 6 inch black tip shark catfish, a 9 inch dragonfish, and an albino plectostamus that I have all had for longer than a year. I think they were close to 2 years old. They must have gotten a diesease, that is the only thing I can think of to have all for all of a sudden die in one day. Im really sad

| I'm so sorry. You had some beautiful fish. Could your heater have malfunctioned? We lost a tankful of fish one time when the heater knob accidently got hit or something and the water got too hot. Are you going to keep your tank going? I love aquariums - they have such a calming effect.

| Oh Shana, I can relate. I tried to combine my two saltwater tanks into one and thought that at worst one or two of frail wouldn't make it, and all of them died, including the larger and hardier saltwaterfish. So, I ended up giving all my tanks/stands, corals, all the stuff to a friend who had helped me get started. I was so saddened. I am sure you are too!

| Awww, that stinks. I'm sorry! I had a saltwater a couple years ago... 40 Gallons, nothing big.... Had a couple problems getting it started up, but nothing too bad. It was up and running for probably a year when I started losing fish left and right. I worked at a pet store at the time so I could take water samples to work for free water tests and stuff and I never did find out what caused it. I ended up losing about $1000 worth of fish and corals. I would love to get another tank started (something a lot bigger, 100+ gallons), but I don't want to risk that happening again. |

I have a 30 gallon saltwater tank too and I have lost many fish over the past year. That tank is empty right now, I have to order a part for the filter if I decide to start it back up. I want to, but this time I am only going to get damsels and crabs becasue everything else is too fragile, too hard, and its very depressing and sad not to mention I feel horrible for the fish. I just cleaned out my freshwater and it was horrible. My husband was too sad that he couldnt do it, I had to do it

| if i were closer i would bring you some babies! i would love to have a large tank maybe after we move? if you do start a new freshwater tank maybe get a african butterfly fish they are pretty hardy fish i think they are ugly but cool. let us know if you find out what happened to them it's odd to lose so many at once . sorrry your fish passed.
