I want to "Thank" all who posted for their care & concern for Lucky's health. I appreciate that!!!

I gave Lexie pedialite when she was really sick. I got the unflavored and just put it in her water bowl so I knew she was drinking it.

I hope all is well!!! I wouldn't suggest gatorade because it has a really high salt and sugar content.

Thanks for that suggestion Coroth. I know, I thought GatorAid would have too much of sugar & salt in it also.

Lucky is showing a big improvement this weekend since the vet changed his antibiotic. I am SO....happy to see him starting to act like himself again.

He's eating & drinking much better. He even drank the Pedialite.

Thank You everyone for your care & concern for him. I appreciated that so much!!!

That's great, Dawn! I guess dogs are like people in that we respond better to some medicines better than others. Kind of amazing when you think about it.

I have given pedialite to my puppy when he was sick and not eating as I was afraid of dehydration, it worked well. It seems like if you let them get dehydrated it takes awhile to get them feeling better. prayers will go out to your Lucky.
