He was a little dehydrated and still sounded a little congested. (Which I think was making him sound weird when he breathed.) They gave him intravenous fluids last night and a shot for upper respiratory infection. They changed his antibiotics to Clavamox. The vet said most dogs usually respond to the other antibiotic Lucky was given but it didn't do anything for Lucky.

The vet said that Lucky should improve pretty fast on this medicine, which is stronger than the last antibiotic.

He also suggested getting Pedialite (spelling?) or GatorAid for Lucky. Today after work, I'm going to stop and pick up some Pedialite for him. Has anyone ever given that to their furbabies?

I want to "Thank" all who posted for their care & concern for Lucky's health. I appreciate that!!!
I gave Lexie pedialite when she was really sick. I got the unflavored and just put it in her water bowl so I knew she was drinking it.

I hope all is well!!! I wouldn't suggest gatorade because it has a really high salt and sugar content.
