Tommorow is annual review/bonus/salary meetings! I'm so excited!

My daugther had our last volleyball game (just an end of year game against the fathers) and party!

We are now all sick w/ some sort of stomach bug...YUCK...but we are thankfully already feeling better!

I really need to clean....I normally love to clean, but I just haven't had the energy for about a week.........(aurgh)

Well, this morning is our trash pick up day.
We have a nice, big wooden trash box w/ lid that my DH built.

I got a call after I seen the trash truck pass by....it was the lady from their office saying that the driver broke our handle trying to get the lid open, apparently it was frozen shut!

So, they didn't pick up the trash and they broke our handle...now, we have to replace the whole lid because it looks like the guy tried to beat it open with something!!!

I am NOT happy...I mean, things happen, but if it doesn't open the first time you try.....don't destroy it!!! (aurgh)

My DH thought that was strange anyway, because in the 6 years we have had that box, we stain it every other year so it doesn't get faded....it has never frozen shut??!!!

Oh well.......that is my "rant" for the day!

That is crazy... You can make your own trash can? We have to use the gov't issued one..

We aren't instead city limits.........we live WAAAAAAAY out in the country, but are lucky to have a rural trash pick up person!!!

So, people can have anything........AND believe me...I have seen people use a lot of things for their trash "cans"

DH made a big box out of cedar to match our house...even though, we can't see it from our house, but everyone who drives by (although not many since we live close to the end of a dead end country road) can see it....and I am a freak about things looking good around the house!

You know what is funn? I posted a comment on YouTube to one of yorkymom's comment and then blocked me! lol... I just said how can she sell her puppies as tcups for $3000 (4lber)-$500 (2lber) and she doesn't have the best quality.Then I listed show breeders with a lesser price range and better quality. Just to show that she is milking people for money.... I also listed puppy sites that sell cheaper...

Does everybody is thrilled and excited and happy about Christmas? A lot of people are getting depressed around holidays... I have my moods but am doing everything I can to enjoy this year's

Love this time of the year. The bright lights and festive store fronts are gorgeous. Do not like shopping in the crowds though. So many long lines.
