I know I gained ten pounds from my should surgery and still did not get it off and now with the back surgery. That is not going to happen anytime soon .lol

Well I've lost 6 lbs so far. Diet is going good. I've rediscovered my love for fruit!

Tala is doing well now - lethargic but good. They had me cut her dose in half for 3 days and then go back to the original dose. How much fun is it to put your hand down a Boxer's throat?! Slimy - ewwww!!!

She doesn't like it but she doesn't fight me.

Great ! I am glad to hear Tala is doing well. It is hard to get pills down doesn't matter what the size lol

I am doing great with my new eating habits. I hardly ever crave ice cream at all now, my favorite thing to eat. Not sure about weight loss yet, I weigh in on Saturdays mornings...I'll let you know.
So very happy to hear Tala is doing better...and Tink? How's she?

French fries are my downfall. I love cutting up potatoes and baking them in the oven to make fries.

Tink is as bratty as ever.

Wish I could get a video of her and Tala playing. I used to worry that Tala was going to hurt her but I don't think she will. She seems very aware of Tinks small size. Tink runs at her and jumps in the air to get Tala to chase her and then Tala puts her leg out and trips Tink as she comes round. It's hilarious!! Tink loves to go up to Tala and start frantically licking her mouth. Then Tala give Tink one big lick and she is slimed! LOL

Kathy you are doing very well! I'm stuck. I'm on prednisone for awhile so it's gonna be tough. I'm hoping not to gain anything. If I keep loosing I'll be thrilled. So far I'm still at 8 lbs.

Thanks, the good thing is that I'm doing it while there is a wonderful supply of fresh fruits and veggies. I'm actually enjoying my healthy food choices.
You will be lucky to not gain any weight on prednisone...But hopefully it is only temporary and those pounds will fall off once you stop taking it. Are you having allergy problems, seasonal? Hope you snap out of it quickly and able to get back on track.
