This was THE longest day at work, not because we were overly busy...quite the opposite. The provider called in sick...long, slow day.

I was! I called someone an "obnoxious pest" and I was banned for calling a member a name. I have since found the ignore button for that person, wish there was a block button, and I will avoid asking questions from here on.

Since Gucci is Robyn's dog, she has decided what I consider as the worst option in the treatment of Gucci's teeth because of what that other person wrote..... Robyn has decided to do nothing about his teeth because of what that person wrote. Robyn refused to bring Gucci back to the vet for the dental tech evaluation Tues because of what that person wrote. Now, she's too scared to follow either path of treatment, anesthesia or non for dental cleaning. Is what it is.... Back to the off topic games!

Oh no you didn't, it's not that easy. I was reading that thread about his teeth and need for dental. I had scheduled and canceled Winston's dental soooooooooooooooo many times. But I finally broke down and did it with anesthesia. I was so frightened, he has seizures and I was worried this may happen during his procedure. But the vet finally convinced me to have it done, I know it was the best decision, but yet I was terrified. He did fine and his teeth are now clean, I was amazed he didn't need any pulled, and it's good for his overall health. Hope it all works out for Gucci...

Glad it worked for you! In this case, it's up to Robyn now. I've tried the last few days to change her mind.....but....either method.... it's a tough sell at this point. Maybe it's for the best but probably not....hindsight.... I just shouldn't have posted in here about it OR I shouldn't have mentioned anything about the response to Robyn. I vented... I'll put that, "pest", aside for now... let it go... stick to the simpler stuff here. LOL rant over!

It's ok, just try to support Robyn because I know how hard that decision was to make and if something had happened to Winston I would have been a basket case for sure. I'll keep Gucci in my prayers...oh and I WIN!!! lol...welcome back!!!

LOL I accept that you have won but also remind you that this is the thread killer thread. LOL I have chosen to NOT ban you for that infraction since that is yet another thread.

Yes, I support Robyn in her decision. Given the information she has read, her decision, her dog more so than our dog..... I'll wait some time before bringing the subject up with her again because that is what works best. It's got to be her decision or it'll be my fault if something goes wrong.

I have a new laptop with Windows 8.1 and I am having the dickens of a time learning it. Argh!!
