My mother just wasn't into that sort of thing. Believe me I've made it up with my kids! That is why they have birth months! There will be people cake for the adults, and soda. I just can't have a bunch of drunken sods when they have to transport their little babies back home! (sounds good, huh?)

I was #5 of 6. And #6 was born 2 years and 1 week after me, so we always got ONE cake sometime between her birthday and mine. Oh well, what can you do? I survived.

When we were teenagers...we were going to this party...you know, the ones where noone really knows the address or directions....just the general neighborhood...ya just ride around until ya see a bunch of cars. Any way find the house with a load of cars, door's open, don't ring the bell, go in, and find....a bunch of FORTY year olds....wrong party. They thought it was pretty dang funny and told us if we didn't find the right one...to come on back and join 'em ;)

Hi ladies I am back. Only took me 15 mins to read 4 pages on my super speedy dial up modem. Teri so sorry to hear you never had a party as a kid. We will have to make that one up to you this year.

Just got of the phone with the idiot from phone co. I am suppose to get my DSL this week. He forgot to place the order for the router and modem. Now I have to wait another week. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Funny! I know you didn't think so then, but the 40 year olds probably would have been more fun!

Is it Verizon? That's who we have at home. I don't think most pages load any quicker...but downloading videos (you know...porn...I am KIDDING) is way way faster. I don't try to watch any videos posted here until I get home...

Oh, my husband has made up for it. He throws me a party every year! We are always at the beach for my birthday, and we go to my sister's house and have a party. When I turned 40 I opened the door and there was a sign on the lawn that said "Happy 40th Birthday Teri" all the way from the house to the beach (at that time we rented about 3 blocks away) were little signs "Say happy birthday to Teri" "Teri is 40 today" etc. So, I was ok with it, thinking none of these people know me so they have no idea who "Teri" is. Once we sat down on the beach people kept coming up to me to say "Happy Birthday". Then, this little boy came up and the mother says "He has something to say" and the kids goes "Happy Birthday Teri". I'm like WTH? I jump up and they had hung a sign on the back of my chair that said "This is Teri. Wish her a happy 40th birthday" I was going to kill them!

PPSS. Not to change the topic...there was a guy who recently killed his wife....when they searched his computer....he'd been googling....methods of killing someone and hiding the body....not the sharpest tack in the pack :rolleyes:

Yeah I guess I should. They really are weird people. The two kids don't call each other by name they call each other brother & sister.

"Brother do you want to play"
"Sister mom said it's time for dinner"

Really when I killed my husband I acted surprised and kept it quite.

I have already shared this story with RR....but for my peeps....
We personally know a couple where each killed their respective spouses and then....married each other. This is not over a course of years...but like 6 months. I am not kidding. Ya just kinda know....both of them sleep with one eye open, and ya certainly wouldn't pick a fight with the other ;)

Yeah, they were tried and found not guilty. They married each other cause they had something in common :rolleyes:

PS Hubby built them a privacy fence....guess they needed somewhere private to bury the bodies ;)
