Jr. donating members are those who donate less than $20. Seniors are more than $20. Personally, think it's rude to single them out, and I HATE that light blue on their names, can't even read it.

Susan: I'm praying for rain tonight. I want the Patriots game to be rained out and rescheduled because it's ds's band concert and dd's science fair, so the tickets I have are going to waste.

He is going to school in Orlando....our oldest son is already there, so that makes me happy knowing that they are going to be together! When my oldest graduated...I was so sad...then when he went off to college oh my goodness! That first night was awful....but he survived - I survived - we all survived...so it is not as bad this time around! I love them both the same...but for some reason everything I went through with my oldest was more traumatic for me! My son that is graduating this year is, to say the least, not very interested in school so I am looking forward to getting him finished!! I have a friend whose daughter (her oldest) is graduating this year and she is so upset...she asked me am I more upset than you because she is a girl..I said nope, it is because she is your first...it gets easier!!

That reminds me of the first time we took dd to overnight camp for a week. We leave and I cry the entire way home....told hubby she does NOT need to stay there....I can take her back and forth every day. Friends said...oh, it gets easier.....yeppers, the next year....we pull up in the car, slow down, open the door and say get out, see ya in a week! Not really....we stop the car.

Speaking of camp....she once asked me....did you go to camp when you were a kid? Nope...."so what did you do all summer?" Told her....we got up, my mother said, "it's pretty, go outside"....we were allowed in for lunch....then after...."it's pretty, go outside" Matter of fact...she'd have preferred if we didn't come home until the street lights came on. Yep, someone could've stolen us....and my parents wouldn't have worried until the street lights came on. Actually they wouldn't have been worried....they'd have been pi$$ed at us for being late .

Yep! And when we were outside we made up games....bloop ball, plywood chase which was spread through about 3 backyards on the street, raking all the pine needles in the front yard to make a house with a kitchen/den/bedrooms.....fun fun fun!! Good ole days!

Sounds like me! Except, we'd get so dirty we'd have to eat outside at the picnic table! One year there was a pile of dirt behind our house and we played in it all summer. My mother just put us in bathing suits and hosed us off before we came in! One thing I know, there was always something going on and I don't believe I ever once told my mother "I'm bored"

That is not my fault! I always (mostly always) log out, she never remembers to. Her lap top suffered the blue screen of death and it's gone back to HP, so we are "sharing" again. What a pain!

Exactly what my Mom did. Woke you up when the sun came up. Threw you outside. All the other kids in the neighborhood were outside so you had people to play with. None of this playdate nonsense. What did we do when it rained?? Hmmmm maybe it was during the dustbowl so I don't remember what we did when it rained.

Oh, please! We bought 2 laptops in December for the kids. Kevin got his for Christmas and we decided Megan was getting enough and would get hers for her birthday. Kevin's worked fine from day one, no problems. Of course the 30 day store warranty (just bring it in, we'll give you a new one) expires and then Megan gets hers. It didn't work right from the the begining. Kenny was on tech support for over a week, every night. Finally they said send it back and they'd fix it. The hard drive was fried. They have now had it for over a week, kenny calls every day. They are waiting for "parts" They have NO hard drives at HP? Give me a break. I'm so frustrated with the whole thing.
