I have a friend whose daughter (her oldest) is graduating this year and she is so upset...she asked me am I more upset than you because she is a girl..I said nope, it is because she is your first...it gets easier!! |
That reminds me of the first time we took dd to overnight camp for a week. We leave and I cry the entire way home....told hubby she does NOT need to stay there....I can take her back and forth
every day. Friends said...oh, it gets easier.....yeppers, the next year....we pull up in the car, slow down, open the door and say
get out, see ya in a week! Not really....we stop the car.
