I don't mind my prissy camping...btw, we rough it...NO TV

No matter what you are sleeping ON in a tent....the only rock, tree root, in the entire place is DIRECTLY under your bedding. And it's dirty....every time someone goes in...they track in stuff all OVER your bedding....no gritty beds.
Plus the added advantage of you staying dry, your stuff staying dry, the roof staying over of your head during a thunderstorm while you're in your nice, ac'd RV.

Btw, Heather, have you been tent camping lately? Nothing bothers a kid....but it's a whole 'nother story when you're grown.

LOL, Bugs, dirt, and lots more. I don't RV or camp, it's just not for me.
Stay home, nope I don't do that either, I just love room service

There's nothing like a weekend away in a nice suite

I love camping in a tent!!! I also know what you mean. I'm sure RVing is fun, I've never been and would like to travel in one, but it's not "real camping" imo. Also the camping in the "assigned" camp spots that have a place where you put your tent and a fire pit already made...it's just not the same as going out to the lake, pitching your tent and making a fire pit, searching for wood, throwing some food on the open flames and going to bed in a tent, on the hard ground!

I love camping! Minus the bears...

Guess what I got in the mail today?? NO, not SMUT!? Snap out of it!
I got me some, PEEPS lip balm, smells and Tastes just like vanilla marshmallow! Ya know, I'm not a fan of the real Peeps, but this stuff is yummy, ya can't stop licking your lips.. actually makes ya hungry, which is not a good thing... now that I think about it...

I want to go camping soooo bad. I havent been in 2 years. I love tent campin and rv camping. If I had the money I would definetly get an RV. It would be soo much easier to take my girls camping with me if I had one of those.

We usually take the camper van when we go home to VT. That way we can stay in someone's driveway and still have our own space. The only thing we need from them is the shower! Works for me!

It gets only about 20 MPG though, so it's going to be expensive! Almost the same as flying, I bet!!!

We have friends that have an RV and use it all the time now that their kids are grown and out of the house. I've always thought it would be cool to rent one and take a road trip with all the dogs. Hubby could drive while I mix me up another shaker of martinis in the living room...

Hubby isn't having it though. He looked at me like I had two heads and said 'Have you ever seen a Jew in an RV?'

Yep, the only way to go!
Mom had an RV, when she passed it was the first thing I gave away.
I knew we would never use it. I love to get away, we always take
the boat out, it's fun. There's a few lakes we go out to, they have
all the toys for the boat and have a blast. I don't go in the water.
I have a rule, I don't swim where fish poop. But I love a nice clean pool

When I was young-er My Grandma had a RV and she would camp at a campground all summer,, so we would go there, and she would be inside with the air on watching tv,,

Never really understood that,, I'd say let's go outside Grandma,, " Oh it's too hot" So why not stay home??
But we had fun, swimming, and all the other stuff, so maybe she did it for us.. who knows.
