I love camping in a tent!!! I also know what you mean. I'm sure RVing is fun, I've never been and would like to travel in one, but it's not "real camping" imo. Also the camping in the "assigned" camp spots that have a place where you put your tent and a fire pit already made...it's just not the same as going out to the lake, pitching your tent and making a fire pit, searching for wood, throwing some food on the open flames and going to bed in a tent, on the hard ground!
