Upper 60’s here Wednesday. Overcast with a chance of rain today. Going to be in the lower 70’s early next week

We didn't have a heavy downpour of rain yesterday, not much snow has melted. Monday through Wednesday to be low 50's, then high to mid 40's.

Do you get snowed in often there? I misss those days lol sort of

I moved here in 2001, it snowed every week my first winter, in all my years in NY I had never seen so much snow as I did that first winter lol.

Over the 23 years of living in Pa. temp wise this has been the mildest winter, and 3 snow storms is very unusual. Here we are, just about entering March which can be an unpredictable and brutal month, next 10 days forecast to be mid to high 50's, extremely unusual, but can still get major snow storm in April and frost after May 15th.

I have read a lot about what Global warming has done thus far. It's scary to think what the next 100 years will be.

Me neither. Just saw an article about Mexico City going to run out of water in a month or so.

Will the eclipse travel overhead where you are? I’m planning on taking a drive south about an hour to see it.

I would have to head northeast 5 1/2 hour drive to see it. Going to take a pass on this one lol.

I don’t blame you.

I can drive about 30 minutes south to get a full eclipse. Farther south and it’s a longer time period of darkness. Last one a few years ago I had a sky full of clouds

I belong to a neighborhood board. I have a internet friend who is into a lot of weather stuff, I just sent him a message asking for a closer area. I'm surprised he didn't post on the board about this eclipse.

A woman I became friends with online said, her husband and her are coming up to Illinois from Florida. She was originally from St. Louis so; she might head back home for a family reunion.

LOL, that's a long trip just to see an eclipse, but if they have family they can visit, its killing two birds with one stone and a wonderful treat.


So, my internet friend told me what I already knew. 5 1/2 hour trip, ir's a pass for me.

A friend came over the last time we had one about 7 yrs. Or so back. We had overcast skies the entire time. The next one is 20 years from now. I’m not penciling in that one.
