| ![]() With their habitat being taken away due to building housing these poor animals are being displaced. By me, they have learned to live among humans. Bears go for for garbage pails. I have read many articles where fox and coyotes live in towns and raid trash pails for food. Ya can't stop the building, soon there won't be any wooded areas for these poor animals. By me they are building mini malls, we just got Tractor Supply, lost a lot of woods for that project. Too many ppl moving to my area cos it's an easy commute to NYC where most ppl work, loosing a lot of wooded areas. Now a huge project is started. Hospital, housing and stores one mile from the entrance of an interstate highway. I moved here to get away from city life, city ppl, it's getting just as bad as NY my home town where I moved from. Very sad.

| ![]() I was working in NY the Bronx, my home town. Had to quit my job 20 year old job for one in Manhattan an easier commute. I commuted via bus for 10 years then retired. Many NYers and NJ families move to my area because it's on the border line of NJ making it an easy commute to their NYC jobs. Houses in Pa. are cheaper, $250,000.00 house here, in NY would be $700,000.00, in NJ would be $500,000. So they flock to Pa. displacing a lot of wild life due to less wooded area. So the wild life learn to live among humans . Then the city folk are freaked out when they see a bear lol.

| ![]() Even tho the cost of houses in my area have rosin in the last 2 years they are still much more reasonable priced than NY and NJ. Yes the cost of buying houses differ greatly from state to state and counties within those states.

| ![]() I’m 60 some miles east of St. Louis in the middle of corn fields. I was lucky to get my house when home prices were down 10 years ago. A lawyer had paid the back taxes on the property so, I was able to give a low bid and buy it |

| ![]() I would LOVE to live among corn fields, do you get any deer by you. You got a good deal on your house and no pesky neighbors to bother you. sounds like a win, win situation.

| ![]() I just have worded that differently. I do reside in town. The town is surrounded by corn fields. There are many deer that are in areas inside the town due to wooded areas |

| ![]() LOL, makes sense now lol, one of your post said you missed living in the country. Last week we had our first major snow storm, dumped 13 inches of snow on us. I hope that's the end and March is kinder.

| ![]() We’ve had a few enough to cover the ground for a day or two. 1-3 inches is forecast for today. I’m not holding my breath |

| ![]() I woke this morning to 4 inches. 1PM sun coming in and out, hoping it melts the snow on my vehicles, I have the driveway plowed if 3 inches and over. I'm not going to shovel the deck, Sunday partly sunny, Monday and Tuesday sunny. I know I'm going to regret not shoveling the deck lol.

| ![]() I might have gotten 5 to 6 inches here. With a lot colder air today or, it would’ve melted off |

| ![]() Temps have warmed up, seeing highs of 40's this coming week. I still have a lot of snow in the back yard. Hopefully some will melt.
