| At first I felt really bad for Ellen, yeah she should've contacted the agency if it was in her contract, and I understand why the agency has that rule, because you don't want the dog to end up with just any one. I still think they could've looked into the family that Ellen gave the dog too. If Ellen loves animals, I'm sure the family was qualified for the pup. But today I read this article: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21425779/ Quote:

| Do you remember the border collie she had a few years back and everyone was asked to help name it?? I looked it up and it was 2003 and she got it from a rescue named Oakland. I don't know if she still has it or not but does anyone else remember that. That's when I used to watch her.

| I don't respect at all how she buys, then gets rid of dogs. I thought a while ago she was talking about buying a mix from a "breeder", but I could be confusing her with someone else. But, the people I feel the worst for are the family that Ellen gave Iggy too. They didn't do anything wrong and were punished by the actions taken .I don't think a dog is workable with Ellen's lifestyle from how it seems and maybe now she's realized that (hopefully) -- but I do feel bad for her because you can tell she feels SO bad for the family she gave Iggy to. |

| It is awful that all of this happened. We do have think about the fact that she is finding good homes for the dogs when it doesn't work out for her. She could just have someone drop them off at a shelter for her so at least she isn't doing that. Also, I've read a lot of posts on here from people who tell others that they think it would be a better idea for someone to re-home a dog instead of keeping it because the dog can pick up on the fact that they aren't wanted. I'm sure Ellen could have kept Iggy and just kept him secluded from everyone but he wouldn't have been happy not being a real part of the family. I'm just glad that she didn't / hasn't dropped any dogs off at a shelter. In a perfect world she would have kept every dog that she's ever owned, but none of us are perfect and we've all done things that we've later regretted. I know I'm not perfect (not by a long shot!) so I try not to judge others. It doesn't always work, but I try.

| Good Morning Dawn, no I don't. I get google alerts almost every morning about this (most just repeating what we have heard) but no more mention of Iggy and where Iggy is right now. That's good in many ways, I would think as much as we'd like to know he's safe and in a good home. Have a good day.

| I just saw a commercial last night for the tv-mag show called "The Insider" they said they have located Iggy & would have an exclusive on him on their Monday show. But I think this show is linked with ET - so they'll probably have the story too - and - lol- everyone else will get on the Iggy bandwagon again. Still breaks my heart though that those girls lost Iggy

| The story did just kindof trail off...I'm assuming the family never got Iggy back
