It is awful that all of this happened. We do have think about the fact that she is finding good homes for the dogs when it doesn't work out for her. She could just have someone drop them off at a shelter for her so at least she isn't doing that. Also, I've read a lot of posts on here from people who tell others that they think it would be a better idea for someone to re-home a dog instead of keeping it because the dog can pick up on the fact that they aren't wanted. I'm sure Ellen could have kept Iggy and just kept him secluded from everyone but he wouldn't have been happy not being a real part of the family. I'm just glad that she didn't / hasn't dropped any dogs off at a shelter. In a perfect world she would have kept every dog that she's ever owned, but none of us are perfect and we've all done things that we've later regretted. I know I'm not perfect (not by a long shot!) so I try not to judge others. It doesn't always work, but I try.
