By the way, I care deeply about my car especially since I depend on it to get me back and forth to work and it cost me A buttload of money, but I never read a word of the contract (only looked at the final price) when I signed the purchase agreement.

| Oops, my time expired.. I meant to say: It's sad how quickly the agency adopted out the dog. It shows you how concerned they were about the whole issue, including the dog. |

| If anyone watched Access Hollywood, the rescue that their interviewed (Main Line Rescue) was the one who rejected me (I mentioned it in my first post)! |

The only time I've seen the rescue lady talking to the media was after Ellen went public when they were chasing her around for her to give them a comment, on some of the video she clearly wants them to leave her alone. She did eventually give her comments but all of this was after Ellen did. As for her threat to go to the media first, we do not know her side or if this is true or what Ellen said to her. Ellen went to the media first by calling them to the house. And yes, I would be getting a lawyer if I were her, no doubt about it. | |

| Well I went through all three Ellen threads but I swear I read it somewhere here but maybe only my two emails. I want to watch the game but I will find out if this is in the contract or not because this is as important to me as it is you. With the info we have now it is without a doubt they both made mistakes.

| I say it all boils down to money! This agency (like all the others) I am sure charges a few hundred dollars for an "adoption fee". So I am sure the new owners had to pay for Iggy. You know these people are just pathetic! Plain and simple... If they were truly interested in finding homes for them they would have left her where she was. It all boils down to money. I would love to know how much Ellen paid for Iggy.....

| Apparently Ellen was to pay like 250.00 for Iggy, but said she gave them 400.00 Then spent the money on the dog, ie getting the dog neutered, apparently the law states the rescue is to do this prior to placing a dog, But Iggy was not, Ellen had that done. Aparently it is the law to have them altered in Ca. But was not done. Oh no the rescue broke the rules too on this one... Talk of having to have fences in a back yard, there are people out there that live in condo style apartment living and take their dogs outside. I know some that are better parents to dogs, getting sitter while at work. Yet they live in an apartment. Then some people are with a fenced yard. Talk about making more people go to a pet store, this is sending the wrong message out there to a lot of people. Talk about applications and rules and laws, if Ellen had that dog for a month and had not filled out an application to begin with, and yet they took her money for the dog, then the rescue did not change the name on the micro chip. I think maybe this rescue place needs to learn more about this job they are doing to begin with. All this about applications and home visits, it just goes on and on ...yet they got a new home for Iggy that quick, how amazing is that now. How did they do the application, and the home visit so quick, but they were quick to take a dog away from a perfectly good home..shame on them. They broke as many rules as Ellen did. And anyone who has a dog, has had the dog a few days and knows how easy it is to fall in love with a dog. Has to feel for those children. The dog and the children should come before the rescue lady's feelings or Ellens for that matter. My first three yorkies were all rescue's. I lived part time in an apartment and went home on my days off, neither place had a fenced in yard. The dogs went out on leashes. Now today, well my dogs will always have a private fenced in yard. When I took in my first yorkie which was our first dog, I did not even know what a yorkie looked like. They all lived to a ripe old age. When the breeder/rescue of the dog found out that our first actually jumped up beside my husband when we got home, she was so shocked at his fitting in with us newbies, and the dog had be so abused and trusted no one, she called three weeks later and wanted us to take another one. We did. So common sense to me is as important as rules. pooh's mum |

| She paid the vet to neuter the dog, paid him extra to take the dog home for the night and have the dog right beside him all night. She did not want him to be left at the vet's to be alone. Then paid for the dog training. the cost of the dog, and like you said bought all kinds of stuff at the recue's store. It does not take much to spend 3,000 now adays..I think she was meaning all her costs.. Now this is what I have read and heard live. pooh's mum |
