| Trinity's dad going to disneyland...without her!!! He called and asked if we could switch weekends so he and his wife could go to their timeshare in Florida. he is supposed to have her this up-coming weekend. I said "yeah, sure". He then mentioned that his wife has never been to disney land and wanted to go. I didn't think about it right then, but now i'm wondering why in the world he would not want to take his 6 year old daughter to disney land????? she would LOVE it!! I emailed him and asked him...maybe they are going to be doing other "grown up" things that weekend...but it just kills me that he would go to disneyland without her! I would never do that.

| this is what he wrote me back: __________________________________________________ ________ I'm gonna take her the year after the next when she's 8. I don't know if we're going to go to Disney this time. Actually, I have no clue of what we're doing. Beth is planning and Beth is paying.... I just have to ride along I guess??? __________________________________________________ _______ his wife is so flipping selfish. I guarantee she doesn't want trinity to go because it will cut into "her" time. i can't stand her.

| That's a bummer that he's not taking Trinity, I bet she would have loved it. Maybe next time!!! I do not in any way mean to defend your ex, however, maybe it's something they've always wanted to do on their own, just the two of them. Sometimes it's fun for adults to do kid-type stuff, but on their own...remember that Disney is geared at adults too, with beer gardens and other more adult activities. As you said, it could also be that they are doing other things while they are on vacation that aren't suited to children, and he may be only looking out for her best interest-she might be bored with the other things they're doing, and he may not want to put her (or himself) through a bored to tears 6 year old I know you would never leave her out of something as fun and cool as Disney, you'd probably save it for another time when she could join you- you're a great mommy!

like I said in my last post, I am SURE it is beth who does not want to take Trinity. I knew her long before her and Trinity's dad started dating. In fact, she met him through me. anyway...She has never wanted kids...she always said they take up too much of her time. And now that she married him...and he had a kid....it reflects on my child. it makes me sooooo mad. she has such a bad attitude when they have to make the 1 hour drive up here to get Trinity and she doesn't feel the need to even PRETEND to be in a good mood. she is a total B!!! So yes, I blame this on her!!

| That's mean. Disney is for and all about kids big and small. I'd definetly take her and leave the wife behind. What a great time that would be to bond.

| Awwww, that is seriously too bad! I hope he does take her the year after next. We've taken the girls the DisneyWorld a few times and it was a really special trip each time. Actually, I think it is your ex that is going to miss out! That would be really special "daddy-Trinity" time.

| When that kid finds out they went to Disney World without her, I'll bet she will be one really upset kid. |

Whatever you do, though, don't mention your anger about it in front of your daughter. Not that you would, I'm just saying that just in case. It would only hurt her and not him. It might even be best if she doesn't even know about the Disney trip, and he can tell her if he chooses. | |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Us Mothers would never think of doing that. We are all about the kids. I hope he comes thru when she is 8.
