| home from the hospital FINALLY I was discharged yesterday afternoon and I'm SO happy to me home in my own bed. The back surgery itself went very well and my nurses were fabulous but it amazes me just how many incompetent people work in hospitals! Immediately following my surgery was not a positive experience and I was in excruciating pain for days following my surgery. I hope that I NEVER have to go through that again. But I'm home now. I'm still in pain but it's improving every day. I'm even walking better, just at a snail's pace .

| That's wonderful your surgery went well and you are going to be feeling better!......I know what you mean about hospital personnel being incompetent, it's a darn shame to have to deal with that kind of thing when your at your most vulnerable time....Just being home can be a real spirit lifter...Hope you have a speedy recovery!!

| Brenda, Welcome back. Glad your surgery went well and I wish you a speedy recovery. Yes, your right when you say there are so many incompetent people working in hospital's. You have to be your own nurse and doctor and watch everything that is done these days. Now that your home I'm sure your recovery will be a swift one. |
