the ironic thing is that I saw 3 different neurosurgeons and found the perfect one yet things happened AFTER the surgery while I was in the recovery room. the nurses' aides kept 'disappearing' so the nurses couldn't find anyone to take me to my room in ICU. I was laying there, unable to move ANYTHING from the chest down, in excruciating pain for almost 2 1/2 hours. I was totally awake and aware, just watching the clock above me until I finally lost it and broke down. Then they had the NERVE to tell my parents, who had been waiting for me to be brought up to ICU for 2 hours, that they had trouble waking me up !!!

I was so far beyond pain, that the nurses and drs weren't able to really get my pain under control for 2 days.
But I'm all comfy in my bed now and doing well
