| Grease splatter I was frying some chicken fired steak for dinner and splattered some grease on a new blouse. Does anyone know of a remedy to remove cooking oil stains? |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | DH did the same the other day. Immediately I took the shirt and rubbed in some Era on the spots. I let it soak like that until the next day (was too lazy to run the machine for one shirt) and then washed it. There is no oil. I was also told you can put a bit of baby powder because it soaks up the oil immediately. I make it a practice now to not cook in my good clothes. Once I get home I put on my bummy house clothes to get cooking. I have also had a ton of splatters. Good luck.

| I would try Murphy's Oil Soap and really hot water. It sounds strange, but Murphy's Oil Soap works great as a stain remover. It works better than anything I've ever tried and I haven't had a stain yet that it couldn't get out.

| I've been useing GOOP since 1980 and I swear this stuff can get anything out!!! My boys got into more stuff than I can list and it got everything out, grass stains included. Just rub it in and let it sit. On the boys jeans and other stained clothes, I'd just rub it into the stains, roll the clothes up and put in the hamper to wash the next day. It comes in a round plastic can like car polish and is sold in most grocery stores. |
