Whoo hoo Thank you Judy ! I'm going to do it myself and back everything up to DVD - that was a huge help and I totally understood how this will work - I didn't know I could fit that much onto a DVD but this will save me from taking it in or transferring the data to my other unsafe computer (Tell your computer 'Tech' THANK YOU again from me !!)

Cool, now i know who to get ahold of next time i have trouble and dont want to pay anyone I did my Allienware Laptop a couple of times with the help of their support via phone, but it is strictly a Gaming laptop, and just keep minimum info on that so it was easy as they ship with a restore DVD and it restores everything to where it was new !

I've done this myself a bunch of times over the years - but my problem is I've always lost something in transferring my data - and I've got SO much now I don't want to take any chances -

Backing up to DVD seems to be a great way to do it and I didn't realize we could use DVD's this way cause I don't watch them LOL - I have one on my computer but used it once I think -

A normal system restore is very easy to do - it's the prep work that's a pain on the butt.
