Since you asked - I'll offer my 2 cents - this is a child. People DO get hurt from attacks or unwanted anal sex.

My mom was telling me about this yesterday. I couldn't believe it and I told her I have never heard of a dog just doing that to a baby. hmmm....I don't know. Lockport is actually only 20 minutes from my home town so if my mom tells me anything more about this, I will let you know.

I read that...if it is true, then that thing that happens that makes a "tie" must have happened. How absolutely awful. I still can't believe it. Those parents have to be full of it... It is just too wierd.

This is a very sad situation if it is true. We have to remember that we
are talking about an animal here. He did not attack the child and bite him
to injure him. IF this is a true story, as freeky as it is, the dog did what
may have been instint to him. Was he in heat? The poor child is also
innocent. It's just so incrediable that this could actually happen but if
it did the dog should not be put down. Somehow the parents have to
be held accountable. The child is two yrs old for heavens sake. Looks
like it was raising it's self.

I totally agree. That poor dog.
I hope at 2 that baby will never remember this actual attack ...those parents need to be looked at very hard

It seems as though others are questioning this too.."Save the dog, investigate the family"... That's good. They can't put the poor dog down because of this.

If the boy is trained to get his own diaper, wouldn't he be trained to potty in the potty chair?
I believe something sinister is going on here.
I have been around animals all of my life.
Prehaps some SICK person was holding the kid down and having the dog do this.
I cannot imagine any kid just sitting still for this.
This whole story is just SICK SICK SICK.

I too hope the boy never remembers and that down the road everyone forgets what has happened. This is so unbelievable. Could you imagine the things kids would say to him in school. The whole thought just makes me cringe. It's awful!!

It really depends on the kid. My son was able to throw things away at 1 year and get things at 2 years old. I want to also say that when I was at home potty training him the first couple weeks I let him run around naked during the day in the house. I read in a book that was the best way to teach him because he won't have to worry about pulling down pants on time. But I ALWAYS supervised him and he wasn't around a dog.
Obviously the mother wasn't supervising the child. But since the neighbors saw the dog, the dog did it. I guess this is another reason why family pets should be fixed.

I just thought of something...ok you know how people like their five minutes of fame..how come these supposed neighbors that were witnesses haven't been interviewed and splashed all over the papers. There is no gag order on this case. They have the reporter presenting their story in front of the house...so how come no neighbors have been interviewed or come forward to talk about what they supposedly witnessed or helped attempt to stop?

Agree with you But, what I was getting at is the size of a Toy Dog's penis is large, can you imagine what damage a Pit Bull could do.......I don't think it happened as the parents have said. There is more to the story than meets the eye.
