| I do not understand the point of having a dog that is only outside. Why have a dog that you dont play with? I know some people get big dogs for protection, but why a tiny poodle? I dont get it! I would call and report them for sure. In the meantime you could put a big picnic umbrella up on your side of the fence to create shade on their side. Maybe they would get the hint.

| i wouldnt leave a note , that would just make them mad i think,, you should wait until they get home and then talk to them face to face.. let them know just how cruel it is to leave an animal out there in this weather. they just might listen to you, maybe they dont know anybetter. first give them the benefit of the doubt.. see what they say and what kind of people they really are... maybe they are just stupid and need to hear it from someone else... dumb asses |

| I haven't read all the posts but isn't leaving a dog outside in the heat like that animal cruelty? Also I would think that if they have already had animals taken from them that there is probably some sort of stipulation about them having another dog. I think I'd call it in again to file a complaint and ask them what the rules are on that. if they aren't home, I'd offer the dog some shelter from the heat. Yes, I'd take the dog to my house and then discuss it with them when I returned the dog. If I returned the dog. Maybe they'll think it ran away.p.s. don't forget to mention that you have friends in the 'mafia'. LOL

| I cant wrap my head around outside dogs. I mean arent dogs supposed to be part of the family? Do you leave your children outside in the heat day in and day out doing nothing but throwing them some food? What kind of life is that? I totally understand letting them out to play. I live in an aprtment but I would love to have a yard for Britain to play in. But I would always be out there with her and I would never leave her there. Its just cruel. They need love and companionship just as much as anyone else....how can people look out the window at an animal and see the lonliness and sadness in its eyes and mistake that for physical hunger? Like oh look fidos upset he must need food. Not oh crap its a bazillion degrees and he is probably burning up I mean he has been chained to that tree for 2 months. Have you pet him in a few weeks? Nah? Me either....better go give him some food....ya thats it the gravy train we bought at the dollar store...thats good for him. Water? nah..hes got water see teh duck in the puddle to his left. if he can stretch far enough he can get a sip or two. Its so upsetting how cruel and ignorant people can be sometimes. I like the idea of checking on a time frame....maybe they are breaking the rules...hopefully for that doggy's sake they are. |

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Well ...I'm on my way and do hope they're home - I'm pretty good with people and hope they don't get too pissed at me not that I care...I usually don't butt into peoples business like this but man - I just know if I don't say something now they'll continue to leave that little poodle out there - they didn't care one bit about the other dog they had and I know in my heart they would have let him die that day - the ASPCA said he was on his last HOURS if they hadn't taken him and he was suffering horribly. What got me is their excuse was no money for the vet YET they had just bought this HUGE new jungle gym for the yard.....the thing is as big as my house yet they couldn't take a suffering dog to a vet ? MAKCAI - that's sad to hear about the UK. In extreme weather states like Texas... no one should leave a dog outside |

| Do what you gotta do girl. My god, I live in the south, and know its too hot for a dog to stay outside like that. And I did go see the pics of other dog....jeeze, and they were able to get another dog??? I'd sure check to see if they are allowed to get another dog!! Some people need to be shot, but I wouldn't suggest going quite that far, lol. With a dog in the shape the last one was in, NO WAY should they ever be allowed to own another one! |

| Maybe I'm wrong for thinking this but I'd just take him (if I noticed he/she was out there for an extended period of time.. a week or two.
