| I talk to my mom everyday. She really is my best friend, and the craziest, smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman I know! My mom and my dad live in Michigan, clear across the country from me.

Do you think that military wives are closer to their moms because they are away from home? It makes me wonder if that is why my daughter and I are as close as we are. Lisa

| I talk to my mother two to four times a week, or anytime lexi does something taht surprises or impresses me which isn't hard. I live in Washington state and my parents live in Tampa FL. I move alot bc my husband is in the AirForce so I try to call her every chance I get. I really miss home, mostly the beautiful weather. Once we get stationed in Miss. I hope to go visit, we are PCS'ing Permenent change of station in AUG. I think I talk to my mother alot too bc my husband is gone alot, it is always good to hear a warm voice.

| My Mom died at a young age 55. I miss her terribly especially since I was an only child and she was the only parent that raised me. I talk to her still but I miss her so much. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Yeah, I would say it does have a lot to do with it. My mom and I have always been close though. But I honestly don't know what I would do without her! She has helped me through SO much!

| I talk to my mom about 2x a week by phone, not that great since my Korean is a bit "child-like" and her English is slim my dad's is slightly better than my mom's but I only talk to him to have him translate to her if she doesn't understand (she has a hard time hearing now). I speak Konglish to them hehe (words I don't know in Korean I just say it to them in English and if they don't understand the word I just repeat it over and over even saying it slowly hoping they'll catch on maybe through Osmosis hehe) I do seem them about once a week though so they can visit with their grandkids and I bring at least one of my furbabies with me so they can have grandma time too!

| I miss my momma I miss my mom we were really close just me and her for most of my childhood, but my mom came to see me a week ago for a day cause she had a business trip in town but before that it has been a year. I have never gone so long without seein my mom but my husband and i just go a house and dont have the money to fly home. (florida) I am so happy cause on sunday my husband and my son and i leave to go to florida for 2 weeks i miss home so much.... its been over 3 years since i have gone back to florida. so we are taking my son and my husband to disney for there first time so we are going to have fun.... the only sad thing is i am going to miss my new baby girl. my next door neighbor is going to puppy sit her for us she has 2 yorkies of her own a 6month old male and a 3 1/2 month old little girl so i know she will get lots of love and attention they also have older kids that are home all day, since school is out ... but my little one is still adjusting to her new home and i have fallen so in love with her she is my sweetheart. I wanted to take her but with us going to disney for a week i had no one to watch her.. my mom has a pug shes having a friend watch her little one.. sorry so long i am just so exicted and sad at the same time.... so i will have fun but also think of my babygirl at the same time..

They live in Livonia Michigan, it's South East Michigan. This is the second time they've lived there, but they plan on moving to either Kentucky or Ohio at the end of this year. My dad works for FORD Motor Company, so they move around a lot.
