I talk to my mom about 2x a week by phone, not that great since my Korean is a bit "child-like" and her English is slim my dad's is slightly better than my mom's but I only talk to him to have him translate to her if she doesn't understand (she has a hard time hearing now). I speak Konglish to them hehe (words I don't know in Korean I just say it to them in English and if they don't understand the word I just repeat it over and over even saying it slowly hoping they'll catch on maybe through Osmosis hehe)
I do seem them about once a week though so they can visit with their grandkids and I bring at least one of my furbabies with me so they can have grandma time too!
