| I usually make this at the beginnig of the week and i put it in containers and just reheats it in the microwave for about two minutes. 1 can of chicken broth( add two cans of water instead of one like can says) 1 onion 1 1/2 cups of frozen broccolli 1 1/2 cups of frozen cauliflower 1/2 cup of frozen carrots 1/2 cup of green pepper 1/2 cup of red pepper 1/2 cup of orange and yellow pepper Let boil for about 10 minutes or until veggies are softened. Add 1 can of chicken noodle soup and 2 cans of water or 1 can of veggie/onion broth with two cans of water which is very good as well. I seperate it by putting two laddles full into my containers, and it usually makes 4 containers. Try to buy low sodium soup as well to cut down on the amount of sodium intake. I buy frozen veggies because they last longer and I get at least 3 batches of soup out of it. I was not a very big veggie lover until I started making this soup and it has no fat and I consider it be two vegetable intakes for the day. |

| Thanks you! Thank you! Thank you!! I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!! These are GREAT ideas! I am printing this list off, going to the grocery store and then putting it by my fridge. I am usually pretty healthy but the past few months I have been dragging... These ideas will be the perfect pick me up. They all sound so yummy. And that is what I need. |
