Ok sorry this might offend some peope here but i am just so tired of biting my tounge. I know there are some really touchy hot topics here but it has gotten so out of hand and really it has come down to a few YT members here that are just being incredibly rude in their postings on people breeding there dogs. I will say there are a few breeders here who show as well who have been the most wonderful people helping others out with their breeding questions and i want to thank them for not being judgemental and rude you guys have made a big difference here on yt about this topic. As for the rest that continue to be rude and say uncalled for things JUST STOP ALREADY If your not a breeder then you really have no right to be telling others that they shouldn't breed. There are some here who think they know everything yet they have never bred and others who just want to shove their opinions down your throat! It's one thing to have an opinion and another to force you opinion on someone else relentlessly. We are a community here to learn and support on another not to bash and critize. We have new members here all the time and a lot of them never come back because they were welcomed so rudley when they really need help or advice. No i don't think just anyone should breed but most of the time you will not change their minds about it. Why not try to educate them and help them instead of telling the what an unethical person they are because they want to breed. Sorry show people don't get mad at me for this but not everyone can afford a show dog or pet that gor for thousands of dollars and if no one else bred them no one could have one. I think if you are going to breed do your homework and know as much as you can. But if someone has a question that they need help with i think it's time to put away the hostillity and judgement and try to help eachother out. This goes for all the topics like teacup, breeding and the other heated debates. It really saddens me when i see some of these posts latley. I do want to thank the breeder here that have been so helpful again. Sorry off my soap box

Thank you Amber. I am not a breeder but feel the same. You can give advice and have opinions but you don't need to bash and be down right rude. To those that do this try to Remember when you were just starting out? How would you feel if someone did this to you??????? Thank you again Amber

your more than welcome i have been here almost a year now but i am on every day and i see this going on way to much! I love it here it's my favorite place to be and it's making me so upset to see some of these posts. Yes i have stong opinions on some things but i always try to be helpful and polite but some of these posts are bringing out the B^*** in me and i don't want to be rude either so in general i think we need to relieze that there are people on the other end that have their feelings really hurt.

Excellent Posting! I've seen one thread were a person was asking a question unrelated to whether or not she should breed and got attacked for deciding to breed. I think when someone is asking for help they have already made a decision and the best you can do is put your personal feelings aside and do what they ask.......give them advice on what they asked for! It upsets me how many of these threads wind up with someone telling a grown person what they should or shouldn't do when ultimately it is their decision!

There Is Nothing Wrong In Expressing Your Opinions, As Long As You Do So In A Way So As Not To Offend, Or Upset People, After All We Are All Different And Have Different Views.

I agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion and that is one of the things that make this sight so great it's just when you are completely bashed for something you needed help on that irritates me. I'm not saying everyone needs to walk on egg shells here but a little common curtousy would be nice. I do agree with the if you don't like it don't read it but not everyone is willing to bite their tounge and it seems to be those people who cause a lot of the turmoil here. Yes have an opionion but don't freak out and cram it down our throats and then keep it going on and on and on. there are a few people here that evey post about breeding is so uncalled for and rude and it doesn't really matter if they were asking a breeding question it's those posts that have me upset.

I know exactly how you feel. I have had some people be pretty rude and I was asking an innocent question. Sure it is okay to voice your opinion .. but what tone of voice will you be using?

I am new to the forum and have asked a few questions; however, I don't post as much as I would probably like since I don't want to be bashed or put down for my lack of knowledge. Criticism can be quite a turn off. I love this site and have learned alot about yorkies from the experts here, but would not come back if I ever received a judgmental or rude response to one of my questions/posts.

This is my point exactly! New members and old members are afaid to ask questions that could really help us because we are scared of the un needed bashing about them. Do you know why we get those please help me my dog is pregnant and help what do i do now posts? Becaus ethey were to afraid to ask here! It's great we can all talk about how cute our puppies are and what food to feed but what about the really important things that we should talk about and learn from eachother about? We can't because of the heated debates it's really sad

I agree.... everyone is entitled to their opinion, negative or not. Mind you, there is obviously a huge difference between constructive criticism and plain CRITICISM. We're all guilty of it at some point - not just breeders.

I don't go into to the breeders section for this reason.I think we should speak up and defend poor breeding practises,we are the dogs voices. I don't know which post you are referring to or if it was done rudely.I am just saying there are people that have no business breeding and in my opinion need to be told so.

Just so i am clear i am not singling out breeders it's everyone in general. I started this because the last 3 days i have seen some really bad things. To be honest there is one YTmember in particular that i am hoping will read this thread and get the clue! I have heard numerous people complian about this member and this memeber is down right rude and not a breeder. But it's not just this member there are several. I have an opinion but besides this topic(and even then i still try to be nice) can anyone say i have been rude or pushy with my opinion?
