What do you do for a living???

I work for a company called Homeshare. We house a mentally handicapped woman (kind of like foster care) full time. She is 27 years old and she goes to a day program 4 days a week. I get to stay at home so that is a bonus. I have watched her for 3 1/2 years now and its beginning to stress me out. She is non verbal and pretty severly mentally disabled so its gets to me. I am not sure how much longer we will have her for. I would like to go back to working with the public but my dream job is the Humane Society..not sure if Id have to go to school to do that but it has always been my dream.

I'm a student at USF (will be graduating in May). For now, I go to class and I work part-time in the Nursery at the YMCA (I get to play with babies every day ). But once I graduate, I'm going into teaching while I get my masters in Psychology.

But my favorite job is being a mom to Mr. Biggs, my very own little fur baby!

I'm an Educator/Lecturer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I teach Professional Development for the School of Engineering (adjunct) and the Archer Center for Student Leadership Development.

What that all works out to is that I teach a required course for Sophomore and Senior Engineering Students that teaches Ethics, Communication, Intellectual Diversity, Organizational Culture and Interviewing Skills.

I am the Practice Administrator for a general surgeon's practice. I love my job, but it is extremely stressful.

I Am A Qualified Social Worker But Now I Work For My Local Government Housing Department. I Am A New Tenant Advisor And I Accompany People To View Properties, And If They Wish To Sign For The Property I Complete All The Necessary Paperwork And Help Them To Settle In.

Much Less Stress Than Social Work.

I Love My Job As I Am Out Of My Office Most Of The Day Meeting People.

I Have Been Married To Dave For 22 Years And Have A 21 Year Old Daughter Kayley, And Not Forgetting My Little Baby Harvey Who Is 11 Months Old.

I'm a full-time student (I'm a Nursing major, but it's looking like I'm never going to finish nursing school, so I'm taking business classes too)

I'm a server at Chili's, which I hate, because people don't realize that I'm working for $2.13 an hour and they can't even tip 10%. (I realize that when I'm having an 'off' day, I don't deserve even 10%) I really hate working 25 hours over a weekend and bringing home $150... (I'm applying for a new job tomorrow!)

I own a Country Store right off the Boardwalk in
Ocean City Maryland. That means I spend most
of my time buying inventory then selling it to the
tourist. We are really busy in the summer and
run a more comfortable pace in the winter.

I am also the mother of 4 adult children, the youngest
being a freshman in college. We also have 3 cats,
7 dwarf goats, and a few chickens.

I am a RN in an emergency room. I have been nurse for almost 10 years. I worked in labor and delivery for 8 years and have worked in the er for 2 years. I have recently resigned my full time position and I only work 2 days a month. My husband and I have an excavating company and he takes care of all the jobs and equipment part of the company and I do the paper work and book keeping. I will go back to nursing sometime but right now its nice to have a break...I find that every few years I need a break away from nursing...but it is nice to know that I can quit my job and take a long vacation and at any time I can get another job on any given day at any given hospital...HUGE nursing shortage. I have a teenage daughter that will be graduating from high school this year and I have 3 dogs and a cat, and 4 nephews.

I think I've been in your Country Store. If it's the one I'm thinking of, is it right on Coastal Highway somewhere around 20 something street? That's a really nice store and I've brought several things in there that I have sitting around my house. I hope that's the one, if not you'll have to tell me what street your on, I'd love to visit the store when I'm down there.

Oh, I'm an Account Representative in an insurance agency office. Do a lot of different things every day and answer the phones.

There is so many changes going on around us down
here its kind of sad.
My parents live in York ((where I am
from originally)). I also have a son who lives in Hanover (PA).
I come up to Amish Trader a few times a year for
shopping. Stop in and see me if you come
